More time to create something different

Well here we are and we are ready to do our first full day "Your Creative Self" at West Wickham Spiritualist Church. We are having some very interesting results with these workshops and a variety of different spirit art.(http:/ /westwickhamspiritualistchurch.co.uk) See website. It is on the 6th April from 11am to 5pm. Here are several bits done at the afternoon workshop at Woodford Church in East London(www.woodfordchurch.com) at our last afternoon workshop and there was others on our previous posts.  Its amazing at what is developing with these series of workshops and it is also quite exciting.  It is also well worthwhile checking these websites as there are some very interesting workshops going on at both venues.  Our next afternoon one at Woodford will be on the 9th April at 2.30 pm. 

On another subject I wish to announce that Barbara Barnes is holding her special night of readings at the Barkantine Hall,  Westferry Road on the 7th April and the doors will open at 6.30pm. Here are the complete list of the mediums Paul Charnick, Mike Matthews, Josie Smith, Daniel Naughnane, myself Patricia McNally, Carol and Howie Chambers. So do come along as you are guaranteed a very warm welcome.

We also as you know do knitting and crocheting to help fund the sanctuary we are trying to bring into fruition. Once we have mastered it we will be bring felting into the fold too as its fun to do.  It is part of our intentions list and so far we have had two lessons. We are hoping to do a few more in the near future.  We can certainly recommend Mec and Marcia as tutors so do look at their programme at Yarnarama in Greenwich as they teach many other things.

Spirit Art Plus

Well it have certainly been an interesting few days.  The workshop last Saturday was very well attended and since then I have has lots of interesting feedback.  I was not really surprised as Michael Redwin's workshops are always very well received and everyone enjoys them,  I would like to thank those who came as it is always the students who make the atmosphere and the day.  Everyone was very supportive of each other and then the atmosphere is not only productive, but healing.  Michael has some very interesting teaching aids so if you get a chance take yourself to one of his workshops or book him for your church. I would like to thank Carol, Sandra, Irene, Bea, Christine, Diana, Nicholas, John, Daniel, Ruth, Julie and Doreen. 

We also had a very interesting day on Tuesday and although the group wasn't as big it was certainly an interesting day with lots of interesting spirit art and all different I will be posting a selection of pictures over the next few posts as I think its  It rather stresses the fact that not all psychic art as its called is portraits and its amazing what is revealed including in one piece which look like random marks a name, which turned out to be the same of someone's father.  I hasten to add it was rather a bit of a revelation to her.  We will continue doing some of these workshops which will incorporate lots of creative elements "Your Creative Self" Our next one at Woodford will be on the 9th April (www.woodfordchurch.com), which will start at 2,30 pm.  We will be doing some  full day at  workshops at various localities  the first one is at West Wickham Spiritualist Church  (https://westwickhamspiritualistchurch.co.uk) on the 6th April full details in our next post.

More Spiritual Events plus intentions

Just a quick updating to remind you all that we have a workshop on Saturday 23rd March at the Friends Meeting House in Epping with Michael Redwin,  Those of you who have attended Michael's previous workshops will know what an excellent medium and teacher he is.  It starts at 1.30 pm and the doors open at 1 pm.  The cost is only £20 which includes teas etc plus a free raffle ticket.  Easy journey on Central line to Epping then a short hop on the bus.  We guarantee you a warm friendly welcome. 

The event following this is a workshop  entitled "Your Creative Self" at Woodford Spiritualist Church on the  Tuesday 26th March at 2.30 pm to 5.30 - 6 pm.  Only £5 church members and £6 non members.   Please take a look at the website as there are lots of excellent workshops during the year as well as circles and awareness groups (www.woodfordchurch.com).

The following day we are at the Isle of Light the little sanctuary run by Barbara Barnes in the Barkantine Hall, Westferry Road doing the Special which is an evening of readings.  I believe the mediums working are myself Patricia McNally, Daniel Naughnane, Carol Chambers, Alex McDougall and Howie Chambers.

We also have some full day workshops coming at Woodford soon. So please keep an eye on this blog as nearer the time we will be posting complete details.

As promised here is the wet felting pouch I made during Mec and Marcia's workshop, which was held at the Hill Station Café in Kitto Road, New Cross and I believe they are planning on another one soon. which will be to make a bowl. More details can be found by contacting Marcia on Facebook or Instagram.  They are called Yarnarama and are based in Greenwich.  Excellent workshop and we are really looking forward to the next one.  As you can see from the picture its is a really cosy venue with lovely food, friendly staff and just a good place to know about so please pay them a visit.  Children friendly too which is another bonus plus an excellent craft shop.  Just another stage in our intentions.  Although we are not doing too well with new churches or tutors.

My Creative Self Plus

Our next workshop at Epping will be with Michael Redwin and as those of you who have attended Michael's workshops before will know he is very knowledgeable and its bound to be an excellent workshop entitled "Soul Awareness to Intuition" , which will start at 1.30 pm on the 23rd March at our usual venue in the Friends Meeting House at Epping (Hemnall Street, CM16 4LL). Do come and join us as this workshop is suitable for all levels.  Part of the workshop will be rather unique as Michael has a vast knowledge of using dominoes for divination. 

On the 26th March we will be holding another of our afternoon workshops, which start at 2.30 pm and finish around 5.30 to 6.00 pm.  They are entitled "Your Creative Self"  and will cover a whole spectrum of creativity linking you to spirit as well as enhancing your creative abilities and honing your intuition.  Cost only £5 for church members and £6 for none members.  This will be followed by our evening circles "The Progressive Development Awareness Group" and our Closed Circle.  There are other circles at South Woodford National Spiritualist Church" so take a look at the websire (www.woodfordchurch.com).

On a totally different note we have taken another step in one of our intentions and went to a wet felting workshop with Mec and Marcia.  It was a very productive day and it was lovely to met Ruth Spencer who also was on the course plus helping to run the delightful craft shop at the Hill Station Cafe, Kitto Street, New Cross, SE14 5TW, which is opposite Telegraph Hill Park and next to next to St, Catherines Church.  I can highly recommend the café and shop.  The staff are very helpful and the food is excellent.  Especially the bread, which is yummy. Do pay them a visit as I can assure you won't be disappointed.  The picture on the right is where the draw string bag started from and the finished on  the left is as you see.  The top picture is the craft shop itself.  I believe their next felting workshop will be making a bowl.  So if you want details contact them on Yarnarama at Greenwich (via facebook and Instagram). Workshop with a difference

What a lovely group of students were at our new workshop "Your Creative Self" and we had some excellent results including an inspired portrait I was given for one of the students present.  Two lovely pieces of inspirational prose they composed in groups of three, which I am going to share with you now. 

" Have hope to find the truth you seek,

   Take inspiration from all the colours you see,

   Whether it is the blazing heat of the orange sun,

   Or the shimmering gold of the sparkling sands,

   All of creation sends the message of hope

Your Creative Self

The first  of our afternoon workshops will be on the 12th March at Woodford starting at 2.30 pm.  It is entitled "Your Creative Self". These workshops are a mixture of techniques, creativity, which will enhance your intuition, connect you to the spirit world as well as bringing out your creativity and possibly develop spirit art of one form or another. We are all part of great spirit and as great spirit is creative so are we.   Although the titles are the same all workshops will all be different.  The cost just £6 for non members and £5 for members.  We are hoping to run these twice a month giving those of you who find it difficult or sadly are scared to come out in the evenings.  We do wherever possible try to ensure that there is a lift back to the station at least.  Do please look at the Woodford Spiritualist Church (www.woodfordchurch.com) website as there is an array of different workshops throughout the year.

Winter Returns

We are still knitting and crocheting for spirit in order to swell the funds for our sanctuary. The little poppets above are very popular and as well as the stuffing contain crystals  and herbs. They are programmed to help reduce stress I guess in the same way as the worry dolls. Only £10 in the colour of your choice plus postage. 
We are doing fairly well with our intentions as we have done a wee bit of cluttering clearing, plus booking two felting workshop and trying as workshop with a new tutor.  We haven't done well with visiting new churches, but we will make up for it this month we hope.

Spirit Surprise

What a delightful workshop yesterday with Mariea Rudenko-Fear on colour.  I can say without a doubt that everyone enjoyed it and I have asked Mariea to come back and facilitating another one at Woodford. We have also asking her to facilitate one at Epping. I did a picture, which turned out to be another students brother. It was a very clever moved by spirit as the drawing, which was supposed to relate to a reading for me. I via my guide drew a picture, which was interpreted with things that were not applicable to myself, but the person who the reading was the best friend of the lady's best friend.  So they both had a lovely surprise (see picture on the left) The information given was excellent evidence of death survival.  Well done Sandra we were proud of you. Thank  you so much Mariea for a lovely day.

Our next workshop at Epping will be with Michael Redwin and those of you who have attended Michael's workshops will know what an excellent tutor he is and for those of you who haven't you are in for a treat.  Not only is he an excellent tutor, but he also has a wealth of knowledge, which he shares willingly.  He is one of spirits first class workers.

We are looking forward to tomorrows workshop with Mariea Rudenko- Fear.  There is no needs to book just come along to Woodford Church (www.woodfordchurch.com). Entitled "Awareness of Colour for Spirit and Self". So do come and join us tomorrow.  It starts at 11 am and is £15 for members and £17 for non members.  Then on Sunday 3rd  there is a workshop with popular medium Sandy Wilkinson.  Woodford has some very interesting workshops so please keep an eye on the website.  Keep and eye on here for our workshops and those at Epping. Our next one at Epping will be on the 23rd March with Michael Redwin and as most of you know Michael is an excellent tutor.   I have also chosen to add an old spirit photograph of Spooky taken whilst I was stroking him. Just for something different. 

We will be resuming circle on the 5th March and we are hoping this snow threat is just that.  This weather is quite strange and one can't tell what is going to happen next. The following week we will be starting our Your Creative Self workshops on Tuesday 12th March,  These workshops will be a mixture of techniques to encourage your right brain to be creative and improve not only your mediumship but your intuition.    We will be holding them every two weeks for the next three months and if they prove popular they will continue.  The following one will be on the 26th March and we will continue in the evening with circle and the awareness group.  Please if you are interested in being in a closed circle contact me.  We also have vacancies in our Progressive awareness group. Tuesday evening at 7 pm
