More Hearts and Peace being sent

Yesterday's workshop with Alan Albiston was very inspiring and I think I can talk for everyone bu saying they all enjoyed it.  The workshop although spiritual development connected one with Mother Nature and the seasons.  I understand from Alan that he is going to develop it more and expand on those ideas and I have already invited him to facilitate another at Epping in 2020,  We will arrange the date soon and I will inform everyone in a post on here.
We are now looking forward to facilitating our own mini workshop at Woodford next Tuesday afternoon starting at 3 pm and  6.30pm "The Many Pathways to Spirit and Personnel Development".  These workshops are a mixture of various exercises to help develop your intuitive, personal and spiritual self leading to contact with spirit via mediumship or spirit art.  We will continue doing this afternoon workshops next year at least once a month to accommodate those who cannot make weekends or evenings.  At 7.30 pm  the "Progressive Awareness Development Group" led by Daniel Naughnane  and the Closed Circle led myself Patricia Mc Nally will met. It finishes usually around 9 pm.
Following this on Saturday is our last workshop of the year with Liz Gale at Epping and for those of you who don't know the address is The Friends Meeting House, Hemnall Street, Epping,  CM16 4LL, a venue we are so fortunate to be able to hire.  The workshop is entitles "Traditions of Yuletide".  It is going to be a fun workshop, which starts at 1.30 and the doors will open at 1 pm for meet and greet.
We are continuing are campaign to send peace out to the world whilst promoting the Rainbow Healing Sanctuary and quite a number of new key rings have been deposited in various localities and we will continue to do so.  We also now have some other people who have said they will join in and knit or crochet heart key rings and I may possible sew a few heart good luck charms or may lavender bags.  If you are on Facebook maybe you would like to join the group "Rainbow Healing Sanctuary Hearts for the Love of Peace"

Hearts and more hearts

Last Tuesday we made our way to Epping, but not to our usual venue.  It was to see the one and only Julie Felix and it was a fabulous evening with Linda Moylan and John Clarke in support adding even more to the evening.   Julie at 81 and half never ceases to amaze me and her performance was fantastic (as always).  We will hopefully get to the gigs early in 2020 weather and other complications permitting.  I have got to say the Thunder Beings dealt with our request brilliantly getting us both there and back dry (although it had been pouring down in between).
We would like to remind you there is a workshop at Woodford Spiritualist Church with popular medium Alan Albiston on the 14th December, which starts at noon and finishes at 5 pm "Nature's Circles and Cycles" only £10 members and £12 non members (www.woodfordchurch.com). Alan's workshends aops are suitable for all levels so please come and join us.
On the 17th December we will be holding our last workshop and circles of the year.  The workshop is suitable for all levels and is entitled  "The Many Pathways of Spiritual Development II"  3 pm to 6.30 pm church members £5 non members £6 this will be followed at 7.30 pm by our closed circle and  Progressive Development Group.
We have one more event at Epping before 2019 ends and its with Elizabeth Gale on 21st December and entitled "Yuletide Traditions" (we will of course we celebrating Yule at this event too).
Our group on Facebook "Rainbow Healing Sanctuary Hearts for Love of Peace" is growing and we have been leaving these heart key rings at various localities (mainly places we travel too), but also others will be now be joining us knitting or crocheting these and some have already been located in Cheddar, Morecambe as well as over the pond in Kalamazoo.  I am also planning on doing a few heart lavender bags early next year (maybe you will find one).  I have also added two snaps of places they have been located.  Although one of our favourite places is these book exchanges you find at stations these days.  A number of stations have these including Rochester, Stratford, Grove Park and New Cross.  The array of Christmas trees have been yet another locality.

Holda, Hearts and more

What a lovely workshop yesterday at Wicca Moon with Shirlee Moon on the Goddess Holda and having attended Jack Gale's in the past I can tell you these two workshops compliment one another and if any of you get the opportunity to attend either I would recommend them without hesitation. They are both entirely different and there was obviously a lot of work put into both the workshop and the box which accompanied it(see picture on the left). We were all left with everything we needed to do a ritual  as well as a vast amount of new knowledge. Moreover I do feel a a wee bit more than that as I feel a way forward to establishing our sanctuary.
Our Facebook Group "Rainbow Healing  Sanctuary Hearts for Love and Peace"  So far in total we have given out in various localities 35 hearts and we are hoping to give out a few more this week.  We also have several people who will be joining us knitting a few and distributing them in the area near where they live or further afield.  Those being Julie Holmes, Lucya Starza, Jules Fay, Jan and Ness Colbunn. The picture of the hearts and poppet taken on here was by Robin Jez in Kalamazoo.  Thanks Robinb its a great picture..
Another workshop we would like to draw you attention to is at Woodford Spiritualist Church with popular medium Alan Albiston on the 14th December, which starts at noon and finishes at 5 pm "Nature's Circles and Cycles" only £10 members and £12 non members (www.woodfordchurch.com). Alan's workshops are suitable for all levels so please come and join us.  On the 17th December we will be holding our last workshop and circles of the year.  The workshop is suitable for all levels and is entitled  "The Many Pathways of Spiritual Development II" 3 pm to 6.30 pm Members £5non members £6 this will be followed at 7.30 pm by our closed circle and  Progressive Development Group and we will be returning all being well on the 7th January 2020, We will also be taking the last service at Woodford on the 23rd December at 2 pm so please come and join us.
Finally our last workshop at Epping is with Elizabeth Gale "The Traditions of Yuletide" which will starts at 1.30 pm and finishes around 5.30 pm on 21st December.  We will be returning to Epping either the last week in February or the first of March depending on various factor with either a sound healing workshop or "A Day with Spirit" which will have mini workshops of 3 hours or more plus readings and an evening of clairvoyance.

Rainbow Healing Sanctuary Hearts for the Love of Peace

Yesterday was a very interesting day with a workshop with Elizabeth Gale on various card spreads.  I had some lovely feedback from members of the group especially Sandra and Carol.   We are so pleased that it has been so beneficial.  I am sure we will get more feedback on Tuesday afternoon and evening. As a result of the workshop as are now thinking about a workshop on the astrology of the cards plus a few other ideas buzzing around my brain. Incidentally Liz will be doing our last workshop of the year at Epping in our usual beautiful venue on the 21st December at 1.30 pm entitled "The Traditions of Yuletide", which will start at 1.30 pm.  I will be giving more details of this in one of our next posts.  Yesterday at Woodford Spiritualist Church ended with an excellent demonstration of mediumship with popular medium Ray Prendergast in aid of the church funds.  The tree being up did enhance the evening.  Our next workshop there will be "The Many Pathways of Personal and Spiritual Development". Starts at 3.00 pm and finishes at 6.30 pm only £5 for church members and £6 non members.  This will be followed by our Progressive Awareness Group and also the Closed Circle.  Please come and join us.
Please come and join our new group on facebook "Rainbow Healing Sanctuary Hearts for the Love of Peace"  Helps manifest a sanctuary and send peace world wide. Psychic Robin Jez in Kalamazoo is placing some of our wee hearts across the pond.
We are also looking for venues where we can do a pop up workshops for a small donation or price....so if you know of any cheap or free venues.

It been a very funny week as firstly I was compelled to buys a book.  We were sitting on the train on our way to Loughton as we decided it was better than waiting for the Epping train.  I find it hard to keep my balance with the lympoedema . A few seats along I was drawn to a lady who was reading a book called "Creative Healing" and she was obviously deeply engrossed in it.  Spirit somehow gave us the opportunity to engage her in conversation and we soon learnt enough about it to instil me that I need to get it and on my phone I started to search finally finding a copy and before I had a chance to click on it - guess what it had jumped into my basket. I will review it in due course along with another book which caught my eye called "The Healing ArtsThe Arts Project at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital"

I would also like to say how amazed we were at the number of people at Mariea Rudenko-Fear workshop "Spiritual Development Workshop  at Orpington Spiritual Centre.  It was lovely to see so many people at a workshop as I am sure Wendy and Sally who organised it will agree.  It was an interesting workshop as there were so many people from complete beginners to those much more experienced participants and Mariea was amazing making sure all 26 participants got attention. At the end of the day one could see how much everyone had enjoyed it including ourselves.  We are looking forward to facilitating a workshop in February for them (more details to come later).
We have several workshops to inform you about,  Firstly on Saturday 30th there is a workshop with Liz Gale "Further Adventures in Card Reading (new spreads).  Liz is an excellent tutor and it will be followed by an evening of mediumship with Ray Prendagast (www.woodfordchurch.com).  On the 3rd December we have an afternoon mint workshop starting at 3 pm and ending around .  These afternoon workshops at Woodford Spiritualist Church are suitable for all levels.  So please come and join us. These will be followed by our closed circle and Progressive Awareness Group.  The same will apply on the 17th December.
Our last workshop at Epping will be on the 21st of December with Liz Gale entitled "Yuletide Traditions" which will start at 1.30 (doors opening at 1 pm).
We have also set up a group on Facebook "Rainbow Healing Sanctuary Hearts for the Love of Peace" and we are leaving them in various places where we visit as well as some being left at various localities such as Morecambe, Cheddar, Stratford, Catford, New Cross, New Cross, Canary Wharf, Plymouth, Downham, Bellingham and event a couple gone across the pond for psychic Robin Love to deposit in different places in Kalamazoo (who better to do it than love psychic herself0.  Thanks Robin.  We are still knitting some for sale too as well as other knitted items.

A Magic month ahead

Firstly I would like to tell you about a few workshops coming up. The first  is at Woodford Spiritual Church on the 23rd November at 12 noon with Andrew and Helen Hain  "Making Changes, a Spiritual Approach" (www.woodfordchurch.com). The next is at Orpington Spiritual Centre with Mariea Rudenko-Fear again on the 23rd November - "Methods of Mediumship Workshop" which starts at 1 pm till 5 pm (although I understand it is quite well booked already, but you could try ringing Sally 07879 820125 or Wendy 07734 793640
I would also like to draw your attention to the mini workshops we are doing on the 3rd and 17th of December starting at 3 pm and finishing at 6.30 pm at Woodford Spiritual Church cost £5 for members and £6 non members/  We have also changed our circle to once a fortnight while the Winter months are here as a white out has been forecast. I really hope its not true.
I would also like to draw your attention to yet another workshop and you are being spoilt for choice. This one is with Lucya Starza at Treadwells and it is called "Candle Magic Workshop" at Treadwells in London starting at 7 pm.  We would love to go but unfortunately my wobbly legs will not let me negotiate the stairs.  Only £20 so contact https://treadwells-london.com
There are more workshops coming up towards the end of November and also into December, which we will be drawing your attention to with Liz Gale, Shirlee Moon and Alan Abiston.  Our last workshop of the year at Epping will be "Yuletide Traditions" on 21st December  with Liz Gale and the pictures on here were taken at the lovely garden at the Friends Meeting House in Epping.  The energy there is peace itself and we are so lucky to be able to hire such a lovely venue.

Going Quackers

First of all I would like to draw your attention to our workshop on the 16th November at our beautiful venue in Epping.  For those of you who don't know we are so fortunate to be able to hire a room in the Friends Meeting House in Epping, which is situated in Hemnal Street CM16 4LL (parking outside the venue) and a short bus ride from Epping Station. This is a new workshop where you will be learning new ways to link with spirit as well as on a psychic level "Scrying and other Spiritual Tools" both Daniel and I are  mediums and highly experienced teachers who have studied with many well known mediums of the past including Coral Polge, Marie Taylor, Robin Winbow, Colin Fry and Diane Elliott. We fully believe you go on learning and therefore often attend other workshops and indeed on  many occasions we learn as much from our students as we hope they do from us.  Please come and join us on the 16th November at 12 noon  for a warming drink and note the Winter time of 12.30 start to the workshops. As we say our motto is "Come as a Stranger, leave as friend"
We have also changed our circle during the Winter also and are now meeting once a fortnight with an afternoon workshop, which also gives those people who else cannot make it during the evening or are reluctant to venture out in the evening an opportunity to participate.  Our next dates are the 19th November at Woodford Spiritualist Church (www.woodfordchurch.com) and it starts at 3 pm till 6.30 pm and then 7.15 pm till 8.45 pm for the circle (the timings of the latter still has to be discussed).
In our next post I will tell you about two interesting workshops on the 23rd November meanwhile I would like to draw your attention to a special offer of cards at Wicca Moon.  These are only available from there and indeed on one of the cards you will find a painting of Daniel and I.  They are beautifully designed and for those of you who collect tarot cards or use them a must and at the moment they have an offer of the cards plus a Wicca Moon mug.  This is also the place you can purchase the beautiful cards I reviewed in my previous post.  (www.wiccamoon.co.uk).
I would also like to congratulate Lucya Starza  on selling 1,000 copies of her book "Poppets and Magical Dolls".  Well done Lucya and I would like to reiterate what I said in a previous post do read Lucya's blog as it is full of really useful information, which has been well researched (www.badwitch.co.uk).
Now to the ducks as this little lady (her name is Jonquil and she was knitted by Karen) on the right was gifted to me one morning at Rochester Station when I arrived at the station on my way to a workshop at Intra with Unravel and Unwind run Faye Luminesence Lamb.  They are a random act of kindness knitted to support (www.thelittleyellowduckproject.org) to appreciation of the world's lifesaving blood bone marrow organ donors. I thought this such a lovely idea decided to join in,  The one at the top is called Drew and he went on his travels yesterday (three previous ones to Darren, Dolly and Daisy),  Just finishing Duncan.  Got to say its a lovely idea and it has given me a few ideas.  Maybe some of you out there would like to do the same.

News and More News

"
First of all I must say I have been a bit remiss about updating the blog.  My only excuse is that I have been sorting out medical appointments as well as trying to help some other people with problems and bookings. All sorted now.
We are really looking forward to this coming month workshop wise as there are several nice workshops in the offering. Firstly on the 9th November there is Mariea Rudenko-Fear at with a workshop called "Linking with Colour" being held at Woodford Spiritualist Church from 12 noon till 5 pm (www.woodfordchurch.com). I might also mention Mariea has another on the 23rd November at Orpington (more details at a later date).  Then on the 16th November at our usual venue in Epping Daniel Naughnane and I are facilitating a workshop called "Scrying and other Spiritual Tools", which starts at 12.30  and finishes around 4/30 pm.  Please be aware of this earlier start.  On the 30th November Liz Gale will be facilitating another workshop at Woodford and as you all know Liz is an excellent tutor (see website as above).
We are also hoping to run some pop up workshops if we can find venues as hiring a space can be quite costly. So if you know of any such venues please message us. It is also well worth your while keeping an eye on Lucya Starza'sblog as she is a wealth of information regarding workshops and other gems (www.badwitch.co.uk)
We attended two excellent workshops in October both at Wicca Moon with Kim Towler.  Do watch out for their pop up ones as well as others.  These beautiful "Zuan Yin Wisdom"  cards can also be purchased there as they are exclusive to the shop.  The were painted by Suchin Ee (suchin@onetel.com) who has a degree from the Royal College of Art and the interpretations are by Shirlee Moon at Wicca Moon (www.wiccamoon.co.uk).  These oracle cards are some of the best I have ever encountered especially for teaching and the students love them.  They are perfect as a meditation tool as well as for readings and more over the cards themselves are stunning and its such a pleasure to use them as the energy flowing from them is astounding.  They are highly recommended for teaching or personal use.

Heartfelt calling cards

I am probably repeating myself, but I do feel privileged to be able to hire such a beautiful space at Epping not only the splendid garden, but the unique calmness of the whole building.  The workshop last Saturday was interesting and we a looking forward to inviting Lucya Starza back to do a workshop next year.  There is a picture on here with at least five of them and it I such a pity it wasn't the other three too.  Hopefully Liz and Clare might take a picture and add it to the reply at the bottom of this post.  I intend to ask Christine to bring her one to our next meeting in order to take a picture.  Lucya is facilitating workshops and courses so please keep an eye on her blog (www.badwitch.co.uk) for her workshops as well as many other up and coming events indeed Wicca Moon in Eltham will be having a workshop this coming Saturday which I now believe is full, but there is a free runic on the 19th October 3pm to 4pm (https://www.facebook.com/WiccaMoonEltham/
Our next meeting will be on the 23rd November from 4 pm to 8 pm with Liz Gale and entitled "All Hallows Eve Traditions" which will be a mini workshop and talk.  Liz is a well informed lady and an excellent speaker.  Cost as usual is £20 plus a free raffle ticket and light refreshments, which will be in keeping with the evening.

We have had some very interesting workshops and circles which have produced some interesting pieces which could be used for the platform.  I am sharing these with you.  .

Friends who are loving and truthful are a great source of joy,
They will help you on your journey and will do you no wrong.
Serenity and joy they will give you for they know whatever you do for others, you do for yourself.
So today we drink deeply from the cup of friendship.

Time

It filters through your fingers and ends in a trickle.
From where did it go,
Such volume has now become just a damp patch on my lawn
Maybe the next shower will refill my cup.

We are now sending out our calling cards to the universe and we are asking that by the end of this year we have found and located the place we need to set up our sanctuary.  These are the ideas we have in mind when it is established.

1.  A teaching centre for alterative therapies as well as spiritual
      matters
2.   A healing sanctuary for both humans and animals.
3.   A library
4,   A bookshop
5.   A low price café where those who are lonely can come just for
a chat and hopefully make friends.
6.   A small garden Japanese style for meditation
7.   A craft shop
8.   A vegetable and flower garden
9.   A small art gallery as well as a craft centre

Manifesting Plus and healing

We really enjoyed facilitating the workshop at Brentwood Spiritualist Church and we would like to thank all them for making us so welcome.  The journey was well worthwhile and we think judging  by the feedback everyone enjoyed it.  We look forward to doing another one there.  The picture here is one of the simple spirit art readings done using various ways of linking to spirit.
Next Saturday 28th September Daniel  Naughnane is doing a workshop at Woodford Spiritualist Church (www.woodfordchurch.com).  It is called "Preparing a Vision of your future" which starts at midday and finishes around 5pm.  Its only £10 and non members £12.  The following week on 5th October we are back at Epping when Lucya Starza is running a "Magical Doll" workshop and will be backed by her book "Poppets and Magical Dolls"  It starts at 1.30 and cost £20 plus £2 contribution towards materials.  The venue which we are so lucky to be able to use is "The Friends Meeting House" in Hemnall Street, Epping,  CM16 4LL.
We are now very determined we need to manifest a permanent home for the Rainbow Healing Sanctuary and have an idea which will become apparent in the fullness of time, but uts heartfelt.  Meanwhile here is what we would like to manifest amongst other ideas. Here is the list.

1.  A teaching centre for alterative therapies as well as spiritual
      matters
2.   A healing sanctuary for both humans and animals.
3.   A library
4,   A bookshop
5.   A low price café where those who are lonely can come just for
a chat and hopefully make friends.
6.   A small garden Japanese style for meditation
7.   A craft shop
8.   A vegetable and flower garden
9.   A small art gallery as well as a craft centre

Lastly I want to draw your attention to two interesting articles which fell in my path.  Here is the first one https://www.collective-evolution.com/2016/11/11/cia-document-confirms-reality-of-humans-with-special-abilities-able-to-do-impossible-things/ Secondly this one which I also found very interesting  https://irelease.org/scientists-found-that-the-soul-doesnt-die-it-goes-back-to-the-universe/ All knitted items are to put funds into the Rainbow Healing Sanctuary project.  We are knitting key, owls and gnomes.

Resolutions and all that

The garden fete at Little Ilford Spiritualist Church went very well.  Mandy and Alex Mayes plus the committee had put a lot of hard week into the day and the sun had shone for them.  The Medley of Mediums even if I do say so myself went very well at Woodford Spiritualist Church a dream combination of Alf Hunt, Alan Albiston and not forgetting the lovely Ruth Lipkin.
Our next important event is this coming Saturday when we are delighted to be facilitating a workshop at Brentwood Spiritualist ChurchWorking Spiritually with Colour", which although will be focusing on colour is also a development of both intuitive and  mediumistic skills.  Please come and join us as the class is suitable for both beginners and more advance student.  The address is as follows Primrose Hill (off Crown Street), Brentwood, Essex, CM14 4LT or ring 07931 848023 to secure a place.
I have been reflecting on the resolutions we made early this year and seeing how many of them were put into practice.  Firstly I will remind you of our

Daniels Intentions

1.   Getting organised (de-clutter) rooms, kitchen, craft and workshop materials.

2.   Having a place for everything (and everything in it's place)

5.   Making time for personal communication with guides
6.   Make more time for creativity
7.   Do some home baking
8.   Visit new churches
9.   Attend more workshops which interest me
10.  See new mediums
11.  Learn a needle craft
12.  Learn my human anatomy
13.  Attend another course with Daniel Mapel
14.  Driving lessons
15.  Attend another workshop with Ian White

Nextly mine

1. Clearing the clutter from our home
2.  Go to workshops with new tutors
3.  Visit a new church once a month
4.  Learn to do needle felting
5.  Learn to do arm knitting
5.  Lose weight
6.  Create new creative spiritual workshops
7.  Pay it forward once a week
8.  One day a week for us doing something we both want to do.
9.  Start my Book of Shadows

13. Go on the second part of the practitioners course with Daniel Mapel (Ian White next)
14. Get to grips with Amigurumi (possibly go on a course)
15. Learn Ikebana

Well we are three quarters of the way through the year and I hasten to say we have only achieved a few of themI have however managed to make headway in the areas of needle and wet felting, creating new spiritual workshops and paying if forward once a week, Daniel however has managed to do quite a bit od de -cluttering, rationalising his newspaper cuttings as well as doing some wet felting and needle felting. We are still search for a place to be and will continue with our endeavours as well as trying to improve on these resolves.

Weekend events Plus

Just a short update to say we are having quite a busy day tomorrow the 14th September. Firstly we will be at Little Ilford Spiritual Church between 11 am and 4 pm doing readings. Daniel Naughnane will be doing spirit art and selling our little handmade knitted and crochet items (all profits go into our fund to manifest a permanent home for the Rainbow Healing Sanctuary).  Incidentally the little needle case was made by Faye Luminesence Lamb of Unravel and Unwind in Rochester located at Intra.  I understand there will be stalls plus a cream tea on the menu.  For those of you who are interested the address is Third Avenue, Manor Park E12 6DS.  We will then we travelling on to South Woodford Spiritualist Church with a "Medley of Mediums who are Alfred Hunt, Alan Albiston and Ruth Lipkin.  Do come and join us for one or both of these events.

The following pieces were from our workshop last week and I am delighted to be able to share them with you.

Peace and Harmony is a little luxury
Look for signs that surround you
Warmth of the sun to the creatures that pass us by.
Be it a squirrel or a dragonfly

Divine energy floods us with rays of light
to guide our way and soothes and replenishes us
We in turn are duty bound as children of the higher power
to reflect the gifts of light within us on all that is around us.

We have come from the divine light,
We are surrounded by divine light
We are protect by divine light and its is our destiny
here on the Earth Plane to increase that divine light within us.
This is truly life's luxury
Peace and Harmony to All

The second piece is as follows

Respectfully ask for the opportunities
To come our way, to be lucky with our life's choices and to
find purification in mind, body and soul.

Our next important date is the 21st of September when we are facilitating a workshop at Brentwood Spiritualist Church and we are really looking forward to this.  We will be giving full details in our next post so keep that date free and join us if you can.

What next and where

Firstly I would like to say what a splendid day it was at Woodford Spiritualist Church last Saturday.  We were extremely proud of our students and I must say even more when I read the feed back they received. Some of them did 10 readings which is a huge amount.  So well done Alex, Carol and Sandra. We have now moved our circle to the Monday evening and our next afternoon workshop will be on the 9th September at 4 pm until 7pm followed by the Progressive Awareness Group in the evening starting at 7.30 pm. As you all know I run the closed circle and Daniel Naughnane runs the progressive awareness group.
Last Sunday our trip to Rochester turned out to be very fortunate as on arrival I was gifted the little fellow on the right.  Its given us an idea to reinstate our pay it forward key ring idea, which we stopped because of the bomb scares.  This little guy was part of the little yellow duck project supporting blood, bone marrow and organ donors (www.thelittleyellowduckproject.org).
We will bypass our return journey as it was horrendous including a two and a half hour wait on Rochester Station.
Our next event will be the 14th September at Little Ilford Spiritualist Church where we will be doing readings and selling our crafts.  It is a Garden Party from 11 till 4.  There will be lots of stalls there and cream teas.  I really wish Mandy Mayes good luck with the event and hope its well attended.  We will be going on to an event at Woodford Spiritualist Church which I have organised for the church funds with Alan Albiston, Alfred Hunt and Ruth Lipkin "A Medley of Mediums"  Please come and support both events.  Incidentally the small children's drawing on left is Mandy's grandson.

Progressive Awareness Group

We are now definitely changing our night for the Progressive Awareness Group to a Monday.  We will also be running this on a Monday and also twice a month there will be afternoon workshops.  We will be starting on the 9th September as long as my medical mayhem gets sorted.  The workshops will be from 4 pm to 7 pm and the evening circle from 7,30 to 9 pm.   We are hoping to run a mini workshop that day too. More details in later posts.
Please come and support us on the 21st August when together with our budding mediums we will be at West Wickham National Spiritualist Church. There will be more details in our next post. It will be their second time on the platform and I have to add last time we were so proud of them as they all did very well.
We also have two workshops coming up in September one at Woodford Church and the other a Brentwood plus not forgetting the Summer Fete at Little Ilford and on that note the other wee picture I have included was from Alex and Mandy's grandson.  I love children's pictures as they have so much imagination (sadly as we grow older a lot of us lose this).  I was wondering what people would see in the cloud picture I have posted here may reply on blog itself/  It was quite an interesting formation and we watch it change several times,
Just a wee reminder we are still making things to help fund the Rainbow Healing Sanctuary and below are a few examples.
I also found the following article very interesting https://news.artnet.com/art-world/sorcerer-trove-discovered-pompeii-1623607

Three Cheers for Monday

It has been decided we will move to Monday evening on the 12th of August starting with a mini workshop at 4 pm until 7pm then the Progressive Open Awareness Group and of course our budding new fledglings in the closed circle at 7.30 pm  till 9 pm. We had intended to start on the 5th but due to sudden medical appointments it was not to be.  If there is any change in this then I will be informing people, but all looks well at the moment and I am grateful to the universe and the NHS that they got fixed so quickly.
We are looking forward to the workshop on Sunday at Intra with Faye Luminesence Lamb and hopefully the weather in Rochester won't be so muggy. Yesterday on the fringes of Kent it was horrendous.
I would also like to recommend a workshop on the 11th August at Woodford Church with Wendy Stokes. See poster at the side and also the Woodford Spiritualist Church website (www.woodfordchurch.com).  Starts at 12 noon ands finishes at 5 pm Wendy has wealth of knowledge which she can share with you.
Our next workshop at Epping is scheduled on the 5th October and it is a poppet making workshop with Lucya Starza.  There may be one in September but they are having a lot of decorating etcetera at the Friends Meeting House so we cannot hire our favour venue at the moment.
We are also booked in to do the Garden Fete at Little Ilford Church on the 14th September, which should be fun.
We are still making various knitted and crochet items to sell in order to raise funds for the Rainbow Healing Sanctuary and soon we will be hoping to add felted items to them. These include tomte norwegian  gnomes, poppets and owls, but we be adding other items.

Thank you Mandy Mayes

I think I will be camping at the hospital soon.  What with this heat and the hospital its enough to make a sane person scream.  Sadly yesterday did not go as well  as I would have hoped, but I would like to say a big thanks on behalf of myself, Daniel Naughnane, Elizabeth Gale and Nigel Irvine for the kindness and hospitality.  Everyone was so friendly. Thank you Mandy and Alex Mayes plus their team at Little Ilford Church.  Unbeknown to everyone there was a procession locally we were told for the Goddess Kali.  Consequently less people came through the door than were expected.  Very sad as it was obviously from what we knew masses of work and preparation had gone into it. Nevertheless it was a great day and those that did come enjyed it.  Hopefully their fete in September will be better attended.  The psychic art picture above was drawn through Daniel and was for Amar Singh who owns Amar Singh Crystal Cave (see facebook).  It was nice to make contact with Helen and Andrew Hain plus seeing Marcia Jolly and Samantha Hall
We are pleased to announce our Progressive Open Awareness Circle will be meeting on Monday evenings and this will either start on the 5th or 12th August. More details in our next post.
Meanwhile I would like to invite people to come an join Wendy Stokes workshop on the 11th August at noon till 5 pm.  The workshop is entitled "How to Perform Lenormand and Kipper Cards.  I have also found some interesting articles on the internet which I though might interest reading.(https://www.scmp.com/news/world/europe/article/1944583/no-doubt-icelands-elves-exist-anthropologist-certain-creatures) This bit on Icelandic elves and the following piece on fairies (https://deadbutdreaming.wordpress.com/2019/06/29/encountering-the-faeries-in-the-21st-century/) then this one parallel world (https://www.mnn.com/green-tech/research-innovations/stories/parallel-worlds-exist-and-interact-with-our-world-say)   Finally one on one of my favourite subjects trees and how they communicate (https://video.nationalgeographic.com/video/decoder/00000165-61d1-d3b2-a17d-e9f9571f0000)

More Medical Mayhem

I have to say I could certainly do without all the hospital visits on such a warm week.  If the weather men are correct it will soar to 38 degrees. It isn't quite the right time to have to spend time hanging around a hospital.  On the other hand I guess I am lucky to get such quick appointments.  Sadly it has meant the group, the closed circle and the mini workshop etcetera  have had to be cancelled.  Just as I had some new exercises I was going to try out which spirit gave me.  No doubt they will wait.  Last weeks circle was very interesting and we did paper scrying.  It was interesting to see how people placed their pictures on the paper and it might we an interesting exercises for readers to do their own interpretations of the pictures placed on here.
The workshop with Alan Albiston last Saturday at the Rainbow Healing Sanctuary in Epping went very well apart from the mammoth delayed people had including ourselves whilst travelling.  One one member of the group had their car break down on the motor way, another had problems with keys, we got stuck for quite a while on the central line.  One student got stranded at Ipswich.  I would like to thank those who did attend this workshop that is Nicholas, Diana, Ruth, Federica, Antony, Christine, Carol and of course Daniel.  At present the first event we have booked there is one in October with Lucya Starza, but we are planning another one in September with several workshops in one day including we hope tea leave reading.  More news of that in a later post.
We are also pleased to announce we will be facilitating a workshop at Brentwood Spiritualist Church on September 21st 11 till 5 entitled "Working Spiritually with Colour" and we will be adding more details nearer the events.
Lastly two interesting pieces I saw on the internet one in relations to one of my favourite subjects trees (https://www.healthy-holistic-living.com/tree-have-a-heartbeat-scientist-discover/) and the other in relation to sound and its healing power (https://www.gaia.com/article/healing-with-sound-frequency-and-vibration) I do hope you find them as interesting as I did.

Lastest News

We are really looking forward to taking the fledglings from our circle onto the platform that is Carol, Sandra, Sarah and Christine.  Every on welcome at 2 pm at Woodford Spiritualist Church in South Woodford (www.woodfordchurch.com).  Don't forget there are two open circles one on Tuesday with Sharon Law and another on Friday with John Jenkins both start at 7.30 pm.
Our next workshop at Epping is with popular medium Alan Albiston and is entitled "Energies and Auras".  Those of you who have attended Alan's workshops in the past know its bound to be a good workshop with lots of interaction.  It starts at 1.30 pm and doors open at 1 pm for meet and greet.  Light refreshments will be included in the price.
We have a few interesting workshops in the pipeline and there will be a scrying on with Daniel Naughnane and I plus a poppet making one with Lucya Starza  more details in a future post so watch out.  On the right is another picture from Intra taken last week and above is my piece of felting.
I found quite a number of interesting bits on the internet which I feel compelled to share with you. Here is the first  http://soultravelrules.com/2017/11/16/tree-energy-trees-help-us-heal-1/ and I will be interested to hear your views.  Especially with the following one which I feel is a brilliant idea https://www.enlightened-consciousness.com/school-sends-kids-to-meditation-instead-of-detention-with-amazing-results/ and long over due.  Lastly this piece https://www.lifehack.org/429885/study-says-art-makes-you-mentally-healthier-even-if-youre-not-good-at-it (so remember you don't have to be good at art to enjoy it and creativity is good for you.

Medical Mayhem

Totally sorry for  the lack of communication on here, but I had what I would describe as a medical emergency with my warfarin, which took from around 11.15 on Friday evening till 7.30 on Saturday morning,  Consequently we were in no fit state to attend or even open up for Mike Matthews nor attend the evening with Ray Prendergast. Nevertheless I did hear good reports in regard of this. My other decision was whether or not to cancel West Wickham, but decided it would be unfair to wait until Sunday to cancel if I was still feeling grim . At this stage our felting course hung in the balance as I had no whether I would be attending it.  As fate decreed I felt a bit better on Sunday and decided  we would be ok, but  I will add by the time I returned to Bromley South I was totally shattered.  I am so glad we didn't miss it though as we met a delightful lady of 100 years old who was full of vitality.  I do hope we encounter her again with her daughter Jane Furst.  Incidentally the open studios is well worth a visit and Intra has some interesting pieces.  I can also recommend Faye Luminesense Lambs's workshops in Rochester take a look at Unravel and Unwind.  Faye's next workshop on felting is on the 4th August and I believe it starts vat 2 pm and finishes around 4.30 pm so come and join us
Our next event is on Monday 15th July at 2 pm and we are very excited about it as some of the closed circle newbies will be joining us on the platform. So if you are free please come and join us at Woodford Spiritualist Church (www.woodfordchurch.com),
Following this our next workshop is at Epping in our usual venue with Alan Albiston and we will be giving more details in one of the next posts.  Its bound to be as very popular workshop and is on the 20th July at 1.30 pm (don't forget the doors will open at 1 pm for tea and biscuits).  Some of the work bottom right is Faye's and this picture does not do it justice, but will give you a wee idea.
Hopefully I won't be as tarde with my next update.  Watch out for details of the MBS Fair at Little Ilford Spiritualist Church in the East End of London soon. Its on 28th July and we will be attending as will Liz Gale and Nigel Irvine.

Latest News

Thank goodness its cooled down a little and a wee it lower in our opinion would be better still. We are looking forward to the workshop on Saturday with Mike Matthews.  Everyone welcome whatever level and the start time is 12 noon until 4 pm plus the cost is only £5 and £6 for non-members (or you can make yourself a member for just £5 a year). The title of the workshop is "Your Pathway to Mediumship". Following this in the evening is a demonstration of mediumship with Raymond Prendergast in aid of the church funds, which starts at 7 pm admission just £3.  On Sunday we are the mediums at West Wickham Church for their divine evening service at 6.30 pm  but before that we will be in Rochester at Faye Luminesence Lamb at Intra for a felting course in wet felting, which starts at 2 pm, until 4.30 pm and I believe there might still be places on the workshops.  Just look up Intra in Rochester for a list of different workshops.
Tomorrow evening we are at Woodford Church with the closed circle as well as the Progressive Awareness Circle to which everyone is welcome (www.woodfordchurch.com), which starts at 7 pm and do have a look at the up and coming workshops with various mediums some of which are new at the church,
Our next workshop at Epping is on the 20th July and the doors will open at 1 pm for meet and greet followed by the workshop itself at 1.30 pm.  It is with popular medium Alan Albiston so watch out for details in our future posts.  The above butterfly cards was one of the things we won at the Wool and Textile Festival last Sunday.
We are getting on a bit better with our intention list as more de-cluttering has been done this week and we have started learning Tunisian crocheting.  I have also got the idea for one new spiritual workshop, which will be completely different to anything else we have ever done.
I also found this very interesting  ( https://www.collective-evolution.com/2018/05/26/scientists-explain-how-intuition-may-be-the-highest-form-of-intelligence/)

Rethinking Intentions

Welcome to July and I must admit I am pleased the weather has cooled down a little, which was a blessing yesterday at the Wool and Textile Festival at the Woodlands Farm Trust,  We had a brilliant day and are pleased with the results.  I felted an apple and Daniel an apple and a strawberry with Mec and Marcia from(http://www.yarnarama.org/)  We then went and join Sylvia Becker (www.hookedoncrochet.net) for the Tunisian Crochet and learnt enough to start practising.  I will add both Mec and Sylvia are excellent tutors.  Unfortunately we didn't get time for the origami, but maybe on another occasion we will.  I also purchased a free form brooch from Sylvia, which I will photograph and put on my next post. The picture top right is Marcia who is hard at work crocheting.
On Saturday we were at Wicca Moon on a "pop up" pendulum workshop with Shirlee Moon as it is always interesting to see how someone else teaches a subject you are also teach and we had an excellent afternoon as well as making a couple of purchases as you can see top right (www.wiccamoon.org,uk).  Do watch
out for more of Shirlee's pop up workshops and be aware we are planning some too.
This coming Thursday we will be at Woodford with our closed circle and Progressive Awareness Group.  Every one is welcome to the latter both of which start at 7 pm until 8.30 pm (www.woodfordchurch.com).  Do also be aware there are other open circles at the church run by John Jenkins and Sharon Law as well as workshops and short courses such as the course being run by Paul Bathgate.  On Saturday there is s workshop with Michael Matthew, but more about that in our next post as well as other revelations.  We will also be reviewing a super CD by Reg Miles watch out in our next couple of posts.
We decided to rethink our intentions after looking at what hadn't been done plus continuing with those which had been accomplished and here is our combined list, which we will now check every month and I must say our de - cluttering is not doing at all well.  Lets see how these go.

Pat and Daniel's joint Intentions

1  Getting organised (de-clutter) rooms, kitchen, craft and workshop materials.
2. Improving sleep pattern  (early night - early start)
3. Visit new churches
4. Learn my human anatomy
6.  Driving lessons
7.  Lose weight
8. Create new creative spiritual workshops
10  One day a week for us doing something we both want to do.
11. Move home
12. Finding somewhere permanent for the Rainbow Healing Sanctuary
12. Walking at least 20 minutes a day when the weather gets better.

We will obviously be continuing with the things we have actually got off the ground such as paying it forward, crafts etc and adding to this bit by bit.
The next two links will show you how important nature is. (https://returntonow.net/2018/09/21/study-the-more-trees-were-surrounded-by-the-lower-our-stress-levels) and the following one.  Be interested to have your views. (http://soultravelrules.com/2017/11/16/tree-energy-trees-help-us-heal-1/)
