Well Frau Holda did stop our endeavours - didn't she and it has turned so cold.  Never mind on a brighter and more positive note Spring is just around the corner.  Moreover our intentions are going well and we have managed to start the de -cluttering in earnest and our pay it forwards are going well.  We are including our book delivery in that and we delivered the first of these to Shirlee Moon who owns Wicca Moon last week a lovely book of poems written by Dawn Tomsett called "The Path I Walk: A Collection of Poems".  Two more went in post yesterday one to Brenda Diskin and another to Tracey Robinson - Forde both are receiving a book by Liz Joan aka Elizabeth Gale.  It is a book entitled "Handbook for Pagan Healer".  We have more in the pipeline so who will be next for Elsie Poynton's book "My Love Affair with God: A Medium's Message of Hope".  I am at present looking for needle felting courses too.
Next thing I want to do is congratulate Mark Brandist and Sue Corbett for opening the Spiritual Rainbow and the first night 58 people.  Brilliant news well done guys.  I am so pleased and so is Daniel Naughnane.  Its will go from strength to strength.  So if you are in Coventry you know where to go.
Lucya Starza has a very interesting article on her blog about the God and Goddesses of London on the post dated 28th February so take a look http://www.badwitch.co.uk  It is well worth reading as is the whole of her blog.  I highly recommend it. She also reviews books as well as giving updates on events and workshops.
Hopefully circle will recommence next Tuesday and we hope to the weather will be a wee bit warmer although in honesty my hopes aren't that high as in this part of the world we have had a very mild Winter so far and although it was snowing last night none remained this morning. The picture above is of the view from our door last night.  I sudden realised this is only the second time we have had to abandon circle since running it and the first was last week.  Hopefully there is not be a third, but I am not willing to take a chance after last week.
Our first important event is on the 16th February at Epping where we have arranged that Alan Albiston a workshop entitled " Working with the Universal Energies".  It starts at 1.30 pm, but doors will open at 1 pm for meet and greet.  This is a completely new workshop for Alan and we are really looking forward to it.
As many of you know I have been making magickal poppets and inside these are crystals as well as herbs all selected for the particular person ordering them and I am hearing some interesting result and those of you who have one of these might like to know I use the above ting shas to cleanse the crystals and they can be used on the poppets if you feel they need it,
In my next post I will be giving you some reviews of our CD from those who purchased one and I add we still have a few for sale before making our next one.

Just praying the weather is clement enough for us to get to Woodford Spiritualist Church tomorrow as I could not face another wasted journey (www.woodfordchurch.com)/  It is certainly colder and sooner or later Frau Holda will start shaking out her pillows. Nevertheless we are looking forward to more clement weather by at least mid March.  I would like to think mid February, but Winter has not hit in earnest as yet and although I do feel it could be brief it nevertheless has to come. We will welcome new members to our progressive awareness group and we can be approached in regard of the closed circle, which is on a Tuesday evening.  Please note if its icy or snowy the circle may not take place so its best to check beforehand on the following number 07927 288904.    I once again will mention that Barbara Barnes's special night of readings will be on the 7th April starting a 6.30 pm so put this in your diary. This will be held at the Barkantine Hall, Westferry Road London E14 8SJ.
Another date for your diary is the 21st February at 2 pm when the guest medium is Alan Albiston entrance £3, which is at Woodford Spiritual Church.
Alan is also facilitating our first workshop in 2019 and a new one for Alan. It starts at 1.30 pm (doors open 1pm).  The workshop is entitled "Working with the Universal Oracle".  Usual admission fee of £20 which includes a free raffle.  Light refreshments available for a donation teas, coffees and biscuits.
All the items featured on this post were knitted by myself.  Although the eyes in most cases were put in by Daniel.  All are sold to raise money for our sanctuary, which although we hire a delightful space at the moment we are still open to the universe for a permanent place to establish ourselves.  The little magical poppets are very popular and we are hearing so lovely reports in regard to those. Knitted in most cases for one person filed with a wee crystal or two plus herbs only £10 plus postage.    We are also considering setting up an online course to help move everyone into the 2019 energies.  How are everyone's intentions going plus the mind map. Email us if you are interested in this ?  We are available for readings, workshops and services plus still having our CD available at £10 plus postage. We can be contacted on the above mobile or email YourCreativeSelf@outlook.com

How is everyone getting on with their intention list.  We are eager to know the results and whether you intend to commit to this on a regular basis.  Why not pop to the works and grab one of their beautiful note books and write them down.
I have managed to keep my pay it forward  weekly and I have actually managed two this week.  I would live to be able to do them once a day just to cheer somebody up.  I do hope you have all included this on your lists.
Well what a charade Tuesday turned out to be.  We had thought twice about circle last Tuesday with the threat of snow, but it we looked at the forecast and it seemed feasible to go if we had a lift.  Alex also wanted to go so off we set.  Then down came the snow and all three of us were getting the feeling it had not been a good idea.  I then got a text from one of the circle members saying she had given up as the side road where she lived was totally impossible her car had started to slide so she gave up and wisely returned home.  By the time we had got to the church Sharon was packing up and reluctantly I told our circle members sadly we would have to cancel unless they fancied spending the night in the church.  Picture of the scene we left on Tuesday evening, but I would like to inform those of you who don't know the church it is at the top of a steep hill which in icy weather is impossible.  I was glad to get home to a warm house and a large soup. We will certainly be thinking twice about the coming Tuesday if the weather continue as it is.
I would also like to remind you about Alan Albiston's workshop at the Rainbow Healing Sanctuary on 16th February, which starts at 1.30 pm and door will open at 1 pm.  Alan is also the medium for the charity event at Woodford in February.  As those of you who have seen Alan work will know both events will be worth attending. The cost is only £20 and this includes your workshop plus a free raffle ticket.  Teas, coffees, soup and biscuits available. Just in case you don't know the venue address it is The Quakers Meeting House, Hemnall Street, Epping, CM16 4LL  I also reiterate something I have mentioned in previous blogs please watch the weather as if its inclement that is to say ice or snow the workshop will be cancelled as the slope becomes slippery and treacherous under foot.
I am hoping in my next post to give you a list of ideas to move you forward, but here is one for starters.  Make a mind map or mind web of at these one project or idea you have.  Add this to your notebook.
Just to remind you we still are knitting various items to help support the Rainbow Healing Sanctuary and these include poppets with crystals and herbs at £10, gnomes at various prices plus hats and we have other items from time to time like the owl hat on the right.  Text or ring us on 07927 288904 or email YourCreativeSelf@outlook.com
I would like to congratulate Mark Brandist and Sue Corbett on opening the "Spiritual Rainbow" as we can't have too many rainbows.  The address if you are visiting that part of the world is  The Factory, Druid Street, Hinchley

Well started well with intentions list we not only visited a new church today, but attended a new workshop at Hitchin Spiritualist Church and we certainly felt welcome there.  Everyone was very friendly and this to us is exactly what a welcoming church should be about.  A delightful workshop, which was very inspirational and both Daniel and I enjoyed it immensely.  It was something quite unusual and certainly has given me food for thought.  It was flower arranging with a twist we then connected to spirit via floral clairsentience.  As you can see from the pictures on here the arrangements were spectacular and the tuition was excellent.  I would like to say a special big thank you to Penny Cook, Gillian Holland, Janet Holland and Joan Bastock for all the hard work and sometime in the future we hope we will meet again  They will be holding another one  on the 2nd February at Aylesbury Spiritualist Church  10 am till 4 pm address  Mount Street, Aylesbury, HP20 2SE,. They need to know numbers as soon as possible for catering.  Comes highly recommend as a very inspiring workshop as well as a relaxing educational day and everyone was so welcoming (www.hitchinspiritualistchurch.co.uk).
We are only too grateful that the snow seems to be holding off as I find it very difficult to walk on icy pavements, which has now become more hazardous with my lymphedema and plantar fascilitis as we really don't want to cancel circle unless we have to. A couple more dates for your diary a bit in advance Barbara Barnes's special night of readings will be April 7th at the Barkantine Hall in Westferry Road and I know the mediums at the moment are Alex Mcdougall, Daniel Naughnane, Paul Bathgate, myself and I believe Susan Hewer. Next date is 16th February which is a workshop with Alan Albiston at the Rainbow Healing Sanctuary in Epping at the beautiful venue we hire in Hemnall Street.  We are doing mainly workshops and if you want demonstrations or services there is Thornwood just up the road.  On February 23rd at Woodford Church there will be a workshop with Stephanie Barrows called "Inspiration and Intuition" (www.woodfordchurch.com)
Our first workshop is on the 12th March and this will be followed once a fortnight on a Tuesday afternoon.  It is linking in using creativity as a spring board inspiring your right brain and opening up plus enhancing your connection to spirit. The workshops which are entitled "Your Creative Self" start at 2.30 and will finish around 5.30 pm.  Just £5 for members plus £6 for none members.  Although you will be encouraged to become a member/  Workshops are held at Woodford Spiritualist Church and it is well worth looking at the website for a wide variety of workshops.  We will also be suggesting things on this blog, which will help move you forward (so do watch our posts and don't forget to tell us your results by commenting in the reply box at the end of this post. I will try to update this blog more regularly so watch out.  Our first idea to move you forward and I would suggest you do this on the 5th of February which is the Chinese New Year (Year of the Pig).  Make a list of intentions, which I feel is better than resolutions as you have a whole year to do them unless you intend something similar to my numbers 7 and 12.  I reiterate I did steal this intent idea from Lucya Starza, but good ideas are for sharing in my opinion.  Number seven for me is a must as I love the idea of cheering up someone's week.  It can be anything from simply buying a cup of coffee to listening to their problems. If you want to see our intentions skip back two posts.
Once again I will remind you we still have meditation CDs for sale at only £10 plus postage (sold another one this week).  We are actively seeking new places to run workshops and if your church, sanctuary or centre would like a workshop facilitated by us please contact YourCreativeSelf@outlook.com or message us or ring on 07927 288904;

An intentional good start

We were so glad my plea to the Thunder Beings kept the snow at bay,  Shamanically the Thunder Beings are those one petitions to keep the sort out the weather.  Nevertheless I do feel whatever we do Frau Holda will be shaking out the pillows.  Do bear in mind that those of you who are coming to circle must keep an eye on the website just in case the church has to be closed and as I have said from our own point of view if it gets icy I will be closing circle as I certainly do not want to slip and I certainly would not want anyone to risk the ice as I have been told by those in spirit they are not going anywhere and they are only a thought away.  Alan Albiston's at the Rainbow Healing Sanctuary has now workshop been changed to the 16th February still starts at 1.30 pm with doors opening at 1pm and there will be a warm soup, tea, coffee or herbal tea on arrival. It title is quite intriguing. "Working with the Universal Oracle" we are hoping the snow does not hit us that week although I do feel that February is a dodgy month snow wise.   We have lots of positive plans for 2019 and feel this is the year to move forward.  Do not forget the Chinese New Year is on the 5th February and it will herald the "Year of the Pig" and we are feeling it will be the time to cast our bet wider and find the locality of the Rainbow Healing Sanctuary we really need a permanent location.  The three books post here I am holding Lucya Starza responsible for after her post on her blog I too took a trip to the works and found some very interesting items three of which are posted on here. Talking of Lucya she doing a workshop next Saturday at Treadwells in Bloomsbury.  Following Lucya's example and then mine Daniel has made an intention list, which I will list below, but before this I want to reiterate that we are available for books plus one to ones and we also have our knitting and crocheting to raise money for the sanctuary,  We can be contacted on YourCreativeSelf@outlook.com or text or ring 07927 288904. We have already accomplished three of my original intentions and visited a new church and a actually two new tutors Penny Cook and Gillian Holland.  We will be telling you all about it in our next post.  My Pay It Forward will be finished tomorrow.

Challenges for the year ahead

So far it seems to have been a very odd week so far.  Nevertheless some things have been accomplished.  We have moved out Progress Development Awareness Group and Closed Circle to 7pm on a Tuesday evening.  After taking a vote it seemed that the majority of the group preferred that time in the Winter months and I reiterate if the snow comes down watch the church website  (www,woodfordchurch.com) as the church itself may be closed.  We will text members of the circles individually if we get icy weather as many of you know we travel from the fringes of Kent to run our circles.  Sometimes where we live is like an ice rink and we will not take a chance in that weather, but go to ground.  Equally it is a steep road to the church which can get icy and we would hate anyone to have an accident. The thing I like about our group is the support and encouragement they give each other and last night was no exception.  So well done Tony, Sandra, John, Irene, Steve and Sandra,  We were sorry Carol, Alex, Naomi, Imran and Seema could attend.  We wish both Alex and Carol a speedy recovery we hope Alex's operation doesn't get cancelled next time. We would also like to thank Jo for thee lift back to Woodford Station as its a real nuisance the London side of South Woodford is closed as yours truly can't do the bridge with my vertigo as well as lympoedema.
I have also become a follower of Lucya Starza's blog which is crammed with useful information and ideas (http://www.badwitch,co.uk).  It is well worth reading I have pinched one of Lucya's idea where she has made 10 things she wants to achieve in 2019 and we wish her well in her MA studies.  My intention list of 15 things:-

1.  Clearing the clutter from our home
2.  Go to workshops with new tutors
3.  Visit a new church once a month
4.  Learn to do needle felting
5.  Learn to do arm knitting
5.  Lose weight
6.  Create new creative spiritual workshops
7.  Pay it forward once a week
8.  One day a week for us doing something we both want to do.
9.  Start my Book of Shadows
10. Move home
11. Finding somewhere permanent for the Rainbow Healing Sanctuary
12. Walking at least 20 minutes a day when the weather gets better.
13. Go on the second part of the practitioners course with Daniel Mapel (Ian White next)
14. Get to grips with Amigurumi (possibly go on a course)
15. Learn Ikebana

We are still knitting and crocheting  and we have poppets and naughty Nordic Gnomes at the moment.  Please contact us on  YourCreativeSelf@outlook.com or 07927 288904.  We can be booked for workshops, one to ones and serving churches.

Last Thursday as usual we were not disappointed with Jack Gale' stories and poems.  We will keep you up to date with anymore of these evenings he does and any other interesting events.  Kim Towler looked after everyone and if you are in the vicinity of Wicca Moon in Eltham do look in and say hello.  I am sure you will be made welcome.
Do note our Tuesday evening circle has now moved its slot to 7 pm instead of 7.30 pm.  It will insure everyone gets home a fraction earlier.  I am sure that on these dark nights it is most welcome and we must thank Imran for the lift back to Woodford Station last week. It was very welcome.  There is now room in our Progressive Development Group and we  welcome new students.  Do take a look at the website as there are masses of very interesting workshops in the pipeline.  We have lots of new workshops planned so do come along and introduce yourselves (www.woodfordchuch.com).  Our new facebook group has now grown to over 100 and we are hoping in the coming months it will grow even more.  Please also keep and eye on this blog as we not only mention our own workshops but those of other mediums and teachers,  I also hasten to add we will have an exciting programme at the Rainbow Healing Sanctuary with mediums such as Michael Redwin, Bruce Bayley, Alan Albiston,  Les and Jacci Fuller as well as ourselves of course.  The workshops will start on the 23rd of February with Alan Albiston. Please remember we are available for workshops, readings and of course church services.  Lastly I want to mention our new gnome as you can see from the picture these Nordic Gnomes are rather cute and along with our magical poppets they are for sale.  Prices start at £10 plus postage and you can ask for the colour you want with the poppets.  The gnome as you see are for sale as they are.
Today I was communicating with someone by text and she was talking about putting people into balloons.  It is something I recommend if you are trying to rid yourself from someone in your life.  No revenge and certainly never do what we heard of once from a lady whom one would think butter wouldn't have melted in her life.  I add she was a healer and together with her companion they mentally  put someone they were having a dispute with into a black balloon sailed it off then popped it.  Not a good thing.  I suggest you put them into a pink balloon and sail them off surrounded by pink unconditional love with blessings.  Repeat this exercise and they will vanish out of you life.  I must stop reading Lucya Starza's blog (http://www.badwitch.co.uk) ( as I get too many good ideas) and I too am now heading for the shop where she bought the board game and will certainly make a list of things I want to achieve this year and will be posting it.  Thank you Wendy Stokes for drawing our attention to it.  As I said we have poppets and naughty Nordic Gnomes at the moment.  Please contact us on  YourCreativeSelf@outlook.com or 07927 288904.  More news next time of our new group on facebook and the Spiritual Rainbow in Coventry.

Dark Tales for the Dark Nights by the Dark Man

Well we are pleased so say no sign of Beast from the East.  We are hoping therefore to get to the workshop at Hitchin.  Something different and a church we have never been to.  So guys keep your fingers crossed that the weather holds.  We are also looking forward to Jack Gale's talk and poetry readings entitled "Dark Tales for the Dark Nights"  at Wicca Moon tomorrow 10th January  (www.wiccamoon.co.uk) .  Its starts at 7pm so be there or book your place on 0208 850 7803 only £5 including refreshments, which might even included mulled wine.   For those of you who have never been to one of Jack's evenings then you are in for a treat so don't miss it, Remember to that there are a variety of workshops on offer all over London and these can be found on Lucya Starza's blog, which in itself is well worth reading.  She has also written a number of very interesting books including the book that has our delightful poppet pattern in.  So do take a look at her blog  http://www.badwitch.co.uk.
Now back to our news. 0ur circles at Woodford Spiritualist Church recommenced yesterday and from next week on we will be starting the circle at 7 pm, but we will be at the church well before this. Our latest news is from March we will be doing an afternoon Tuesday workshop twice a month.  As long as the weather holds we will commence the second week in March.  There are also lots of interesting workshops during the year at Woodford Church so do take a look at the website (www.woodfordchurch.com). There is aways something interesting going on at the church and other circles worth investigating. There is John Jenkin and Brenda Hodgson on a Friday evening and then Sharon Law as well us on a Tuesday evening.  Stephanie Barrow does readings on a Wednesday and when healing takes place.  The first workshop at the Rainbow Healing Sanctuary will take place on the 23rd February with Alan Albiston and is entitled "Working with the Universal Oracle" Our new group on Facebook is growing and we are now only short of one to bring the group to 100 " London and Fringes of Kent, Surrey and Essex Esoteric Newswire.  Lastly to let you know we are still knitting and crocheting for spirit,  At the moment mainly poppets and Nordic Gnomes process start from £10 and if you are interested email us on YourCreativeSelf@outlook.com or text us or ring us on 07927 288904.  We are also available for readings and workshops plus of course serving  churches. Lastly a big congratulations  to Mark Brandist and Sue Corbett in Coventry with your exciting new venture "The Spiritual Rainbow" so if your in that area you know where to go. More details as it develops.

Beast From the East

Lets hope they are wrong about the Beast from the East as it is too cold for me now.  I must admit its nice to have the sunshine through the window, but I am pleased I am not outside.  I have seen a very interesting workshop at Hitchin and if the weather holds we will look forward to going to it.  It called a Creative Day Working with Flower and combines making an arrangement of flowers with floral  clairsentience with aura readings.  It being held at Hitchin Spiritualist Church.  We are really drawn to it so we are hoping the weather holds so we can get to it as we will have to leave pretty early to get there.  No doubt if we are meant to be there it will be possible. It is at times like this I wish I could drive,  I hasten to add we have lots of new ideas ourselves for workshops and have also started a new group on facebook as our motto for the year is sharing is caring.  It had now grown to 92 and we are hoping it will be at least 100 by the weekend.  We are also looking forward to Jack Gale's talk at Wicca Moon on the 10th February and will be reiterating the details nearer the event (www.wiccamoon.co.uk)   Our circles at Woodford Spiritualist Church recommence on the 8th January at 7.30, but we will be at the church well before this.  There are also lots of interesting workshops during the year at Woodford Church as well as circle run not only by ourselves but with Brenda HodgsonJohn Jenkins and Sharon Law.  I might also add that there are readings available on Wednesdays with Stephanie Barrows and I think angel readings with Brenda Hodgson (www.woodfordchurch.com). We are also available for telephone readings as well as workshops and services.  We can be contacted on rainbowhealingsanctuary@outlook.com or by text or mobile on 07927 288904.  We are also still creating knitted and crochet items for sale.  The proceeds of the sales go towards establishing our own sanctuary.  Our poppets are particularly popular and we are hoping our Nordic Gnomes will be too.
