Well started well with intentions list we not only visited a new church today, but attended a new workshop at Hitchin Spiritualist Church and we certainly felt welcome there.  Everyone was very friendly and this to us is exactly what a welcoming church should be about.  A delightful workshop, which was very inspirational and both Daniel and I enjoyed it immensely.  It was something quite unusual and certainly has given me food for thought.  It was flower arranging with a twist we then connected to spirit via floral clairsentience.  As you can see from the pictures on here the arrangements were spectacular and the tuition was excellent.  I would like to say a special big thank you to Penny Cook, Gillian Holland, Janet Holland and Joan Bastock for all the hard work and sometime in the future we hope we will meet again  They will be holding another one  on the 2nd February at Aylesbury Spiritualist Church  10 am till 4 pm address  Mount Street, Aylesbury, HP20 2SE,. They need to know numbers as soon as possible for catering.  Comes highly recommend as a very inspiring workshop as well as a relaxing educational day and everyone was so welcoming (www.hitchinspiritualistchurch.co.uk).
We are only too grateful that the snow seems to be holding off as I find it very difficult to walk on icy pavements, which has now become more hazardous with my lymphedema and plantar fascilitis as we really don't want to cancel circle unless we have to. A couple more dates for your diary a bit in advance Barbara Barnes's special night of readings will be April 7th at the Barkantine Hall in Westferry Road and I know the mediums at the moment are Alex Mcdougall, Daniel Naughnane, Paul Bathgate, myself and I believe Susan Hewer. Next date is 16th February which is a workshop with Alan Albiston at the Rainbow Healing Sanctuary in Epping at the beautiful venue we hire in Hemnall Street.  We are doing mainly workshops and if you want demonstrations or services there is Thornwood just up the road.  On February 23rd at Woodford Church there will be a workshop with Stephanie Barrows called "Inspiration and Intuition" (www.woodfordchurch.com)
 Our first workshop is on the 12th March and this will be followed once a fortnight on a Tuesday afternoon.  It is linking in using creativity as a spring board inspiring your right brain and opening up plus enhancing your connection to spirit. The workshops which are entitled "Your Creative Self" start at 2.30 and will finish around 5.30 pm.  Just £5 for members plus £6 for none members.  Although you will be encouraged to become a member/  Workshops are held at Woodford Spiritualist Church and it is well worth looking at the website for a wide variety of workshops.  We will also be suggesting things on this blog, which will help move you forward (so do watch our posts and don't forget to tell us your results by commenting in the reply box at the end of this post. I will try to update this blog more regularly so watch out.  Our first idea to move you forward and I would suggest you do this on the 5th of February which is the Chinese New Year (Year of the Pig).  Make a list of intentions, which I feel is better than resolutions as you have a whole year to do them unless you intend something similar to my numbers 7 and 12.  I reiterate I did steal this intent idea from Lucya Starza, but good ideas are for sharing in my opinion.  Number seven for me is a must as I love the idea of cheering up someone's week.  It can be anything from simply buying a cup of coffee to listening to their problems. If you want to see our intentions skip back two posts.
Once again I will remind you we still have meditation CDs for sale at only £10 plus postage (sold another one this week).  We are actively seeking new places to run workshops and if your church, sanctuary or centre would like a workshop facilitated by us please contact YourCreativeSelf@outlook.com or message us or ring on 07927 288904;
