More Isolation News

Well after today’s news I am not sure when we will be out of lockdown. That is the bad news, but the good news is the the air pollution is clearing even in London so we understand. I can’t say I am enjoying being stuck in all the time and I yearn for a walk in nature. How I envy those people who live near open countryside or  woodland. I would like to give a great big round of applause and thanks to those brave souls who have been risking their lives that is to say the medical profession from the cleaners up to the surgeons plus the pharmacies who have stayed open, the transport workers, shop assistants and those that main telephones plus the cab drivers.  Let’s not forget the delivery people and the lorry and van drivers. I doubt life will ever go back to what it was before lockdown. In someways it’s a blessing. We cannot plan anything as yet and the only two things decided are a workshop with Les and Jacky Fuller on 3rd October plus our own “Sound healing workshop” by way of a tribute to Julie Felix who was our inspiration for these workshops . One of our students Joanne Alridge has been busy making scrubs for the nurses and I understand Amie from “Little Sew n Sew” in Epping has been doing the same. Well done ladies. We are also please to relate Carol’s mum is doing the same who had the virus is recovering. I have made several pairs of hearts for hospitals and will continue to do so each time I hear of a new request.
Lots of people have request I do something on social media, Skype or Zoom but in honesty I have not got the equipment nor the expertise to do this and I know it could end up being “a dogs dinner” as saying goes. Having seen one or two of these recently it underlines my decision not to attempt such an enterprise and will therefore at this moment stick to my decision. We have however formed a What’s App Group which was convened a few days ago with great success. Especially as it encompasses people from various part’s of the United Kingdom as well as abroad.  I will possibly be adding various interesting bits from the groups musings. We are also planning a retreat next year. So it’s imported we all Stay at Home and Keep Safe

This I got this inspiration from Alan Albiston from Wednesdays exercise “ Learning to trust that is the key
Follow your spiritual passions will help to set you free
Go forth with Courage and follow your heart
Speaking your truth would be a perfect start”

Thank you for your heart warming comments. We are getting a lot of positive messages from spirit despite the sadness and fear prevailing worldwide. It a time of taking stock and renewal. Below I will share another positive message we got via Diana Samuels. I will be sharing as many of these as possible

Issues, think of yourself facing a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle. It is a huge mound. Of cardboard, unsorted, with very little of the picture on each piece, then we set to and seperate out the edge pieces and put that together, then we identify the same colours, see patterns slowly emerging and with a lot of time and patience and frustrations we gradually see the picture emerging.
As in life, we see our faults and the blind way we sometimes view a situation and until we stand back and look at the over all pattern we cannot often clearly identify the issue at the centre of the problem. It takes a lot of courage to face issues and start to gather the pieces together so a complete person can emerge from the piece.
The second card is entitled Treasure.
Before the days of Satnav one had maps to navigate from, harder and requiring a lot more attention than blindly following a voice directed device. Sometimes we cannot see the treasures we hold in ourselves, I have heard all types of statements, from I am not a very good medium but I try, to ones who say i am a wonderful and gifted medium and or person. I have found the truth often lies in the middle road in that we all contain the essence of something very special within ourselves, but identifying the real treasure within is not always easy. If one looks into a still pond an image is shown you of yourself, but if you stir the waters it distorts and breaks up. Remember, the stillness comes from within, the true reflection of self is sometimes not even recognized by self as we put limits and restrictions on who and what we are. We are asked to look deeply, to question and to set our goals firmly and strive towards achieving them. Spirit often guides us in one direction even if going there does not uncover the treasure we thought we perceived, but one far greater and more precious than envisaged. We cannot strive towards fulfillment of a dream without firmly looking at our dreams and being aware they are important. You will get there but sometimes our dream was not as great as we finally achieve, but we set our goals and work towards that star. We are the treasure, but sometimes we need a lot of convincing.

The third card is Awareness
Again something we have touched on, but being aware and open to influences and ideas we need to consider. When I have a problem I ask myself whose opinion do I respect and who will honestly strive to see a situation with clarity. Not necessarily my way but with wisdom and often greater knowledge. It may come directly from Spirit, sometimes I will say I cannot do this or that but they quietly say you can and will take your hand to guide you along the narrow places.
Now my big bugbear, the ego. I have had many tell me how wonderful, clever talented etc they are, but when i hear the word I repeated constantly I know to be wary. It is a huge difference between justified confidence and idle boasting. We generally all have a problem with ego, too little too much and like the three bears porridge only one is absolutely right. You will all clearly remember being told by someone how amazing and wonderful they are as a medium, yet you have all been disappointed by one who claims much and delivers little. Sometimes people adore themselves, others denigrate themselves, but always the scale trying to balance the ego usually ends up lop sided. So the lesson to learn is this, be proud of your achievements and knowledge, but be aware you never know everything, so be prepared to learn on your journey and to be grateful for the learning. Nothing is achieved overnight, but everyone of us has the potential to achieve our dreams and goals, but it is a journey, pay attention to your dreams and know with dedication, courage and guidance you can achieve those dreams.
