Tribute to Julie

This is post which fills me with sadness. Many of you who know us will know Julie Felix has been part of our lives for longer than we can remember and in my case it goes as back to when both of us were much younger. As well as being a peace activist and a campaigner for Mother Earth Julie was a very spiritual evolved person. We were fortunate to have attended several of her sound healing workshops and those of you who had the pleasure will know exactly what I mean. These workshops were special as was she. They were totally different to her stage performances And watching Julie totally blending with the healing energies and the spirit world was an amazing experience. They were the inspiration for our own sound healing workshops. Go gently beautiful soul as I know her friends and family will have welcomed her home with such joy. Now in the arms of the goddess reunited with her good friend Leonard Cohen amongst others. we will miss you much more than words can ever express our love follows you home and you will always have a place in our hearts.
We have been self isolating as much as possible with the exception of a wee bit of shopping and visits to the doctors. I have been analysing in my mind what effect this virus will bring worldwide.it seems to have brought out the best and worst side of humanity. Those have been panic buying. Buying everything in sight leaving nothing. then there are those who have volunteered to help the NHS who are doing a magnificent job under hard conditions putting their own lives on the line. I do admire them as well as the pharmacist, as well as those serving in shops and supermarket plus those still  manning transport.  I would like to personally say thank you for all you are doing.
I have been spending my time decluttering as well as knitting hearts which will be put out into the world once the virus has gone.We had a lovely letter from a lady who found one of our heaters which I will share with you below.
I would like to say a big thank you to Abel and Cole for our delivery this week. Fresh vegetables are at time like this are a blessing. Especially driving all over the place under these circumstances must be nerve racking
The one thing this virus has made me realise is that I need to be near things like woodlands and open countryside. All I can see from my window is houses. My soul years for   the green of Mother Nature. So we are going to  great spirit and the goddess willing try to move somewhere more open. Keep safe all of you and don’t forget social distancing in now suppose to be 10 feet. A special message for Aixa, Frederica and Juan Carlos in Spain and Italy please keep safe.

Self Isolation and all that

The above statement at the moment is not true. We are still able to bo shopping although the choice of what we can buy is limited.  We are however being sensible and limiting our travel on public transport to the minimum. This panic buying is to me vey inane and I still want someone to explain why people are buying toilet rolls although now we can add to this list sanitisers, vitamin C, kitchen rolls and now paracetamol. At least the supermarkets are now restricting bulk panic buying and are doing special opening house for the elderly (this of course includes myself).
On a different note although most of the sanctuaries, centres and churches have closed or if not will possibly be closing this weekend some people are setting up online events and Lucya Starza will be publishing theses in her blog so keep your eye peeled www.badwitch.co.uk.  I must say her blog is always well worth reading not only with a list of events but also with very informative information.
We like everyone else have closed as lots of you know those over seventy have been advised to self isolate.  I would like you to spare a though for Frederica (in Italy), Aixa and Juan Carlos (in Spain) in lockdown.

We are planning to reopen as soon as possible and we are certainly hoping the estimation of June is unfounded. Both Daniel and I plus two other friends feel it will be at the end of April. Although we also both are undecided whether we will be attending Daniel Mapel’s course at the end of April as we fear it will be cancelled.
As you can see from above we are still knitting hearts and I will use this time to knit even more in readiness to distributing them when things are back to normal (whatever that is). I am not on my own as our latest contributor Linda Ozolina have been exceptionally busy and produced those below. Some of which are being distributed today and I understand some may even be going to Portugal. They really are wonderful.

Finally I note from another post I saw that there is a Saint Corona who is guess what the patron saint of pandemics and who incidentally is buried in northern Italy. Although I am not a catholic I do wonder if a wee prayer to this saint might be well in order. On that note I leave you with that thought.i

Well I thought retrograde was on the way out today, but it certainly made its presence felt as after I had updated our blog it refused  to load the blog itself. So clever Daniel managed to take a picture of what I had updated it with as I really want to type it out again. So sorry guys I am afraid you will have to enlarge the picture.
Hopefully the next time we post retrograde will other be in the equation.
I might add to this post we have workshops booked with ourselves, Elizabeth Gale as well as Les Fuller We also intend to sort out a date with Alan Albiston and Lucys Starza as well as Mariea Rudenko- Fear if it isn’t too far to travel.
I do hope you will be able to read the photograph. but I will be trying to upload it again probably on Thursday as I won’t be in the position to try tomorrow. Please all of you keep safe and we are sending out lots of love

Working Creatively with Spirit

Firstly I would like to announce our hearts around the world for love and peace is going great guns. We now have hearts in China, Germany, Scotland, Wales, the United States of America, Gran Canaria (Spain) and  there are some on the way to Tasmania. I am knitting like mad and I would like to thank others who are contributing that is Lucya Szachnowski,Tracey Robinson, Linda Ozolima and a few others said they will be contributing when they can including Ash’an Neil Paton is going to make some wooden hearts.
Last Sunday some members of the closed circle joined us on the platform at Stockwell Spiritualist Church. unfortunately Carol was not well enough to join us,  However Sandra and Sarah did and although bone of them froze I would nevertheless like to say well done and it can be so daunting I’m a new church. Alex although she did not come on the platform produced four portraits all of which were accepted.
On Saturday we will be facilitating a workshop at Woodford Spiritualist Church, which starts at 12 noon and finishes around 5 pm entitled “Working Creatively with Spirit”.The workshop is aimed atall levels. Please come and join us.
We have decided reluctantly to cancel our workshop to cancel our workshop at Epping as there is a threat of snow and as we know the slope to the venue is not suitable in that weather. I’m addition with this threat of venues being closed due to the coronavirus we felt it sensible, All being well and we are not in the middle of a pandemic we will be up and running again in April. We will also be giving you detail of the Easter Ralllywhich has some interesting mini workshops.
