Well we are certain keeping up with our intentions. Last month managed a new workshop with a new tutor Penny Cook and Gillian Holland plus visiting a new church. Plus starting de-cluttering and the most important to me the pay it forward accomplished. We have started this month off with a new workshop with Mec and Marcia starting needle felting which we though was brilliant. I hasten to add two lovely people. We fully intend to learn wet felting, which we hope will be in March.
Please keep an eye on Lucya Starza's blog as it has some very interesting posts including a post on the oak tree in West Wickham which is over 800 years old (15th February post). I have posted the link to her blog previously but just in case you haven't seen it - it's www.badwitch.co.uk.
Reluctantly we have had to cancel circle for the next two weeks due to hospital and medical appointments - two with the hospital, one with the practice nurse and my INR review. We are looking forward to returning in March with not only the circle, but a new series of short workshops using creativity to stimulate your right brain the site of intuition, The first of these is on the 12th March at 2.30 pm and will finish around 5.30 to 6 pm. The title "Your Creative Self". Be prepared for a very different kind of workshop.
Alan Albiston's workshops always draw a group of likeminded people who are ready to explore new ideas and ways of connecting with spirit. It is always delightful when such a group come together plus the energy in the Friends Meeting House is as always perfect. Everyone had a great time and we would also like to thank Diana and Angel for their sweet contribution as well as the fortune cookies to celebrate "The Year of the Pig" We are looking forward to the next workshop on 23rd March with Michael Redwin. No ideas as yet the subject matter, but we know without a doubt it will be both uplifting and enlightening. This will be followed on 27th April Les Fuller and 25th May Bruce Bayley.
We are available to do readings, service churches as well as workshops. We can be contacted by email YourCreativeSef@outlook.com or on 07927 288904. All knitting and crocheting projects are to raise funds for our sanctuary.
