Thought it was about time we updated our blog. No really different news save no we now know we must move soon. My mobility is not perfect and at least I have had the privilege of so far living through the pandemic. New variant seems even more debilitating. 

Nicholas will be returning to the Ukraine, but at the moment there is no fixed date as he has medical issues which needs to be resolved. Hopefully he will get the help he so deserves. 

Our decluttering is slow, but we will get there. My brother in hospital hasn’t helped the situation and has left me emotionally drained. No doubt it will get resolved soon. Although yesterday would be better. Still he is fortunate to be here after having sepsis plus a UTI plus. 

Our Whats App group is still flourishing even though some of its members are still suffering the aftermath of covid. Lots of good work being done with the right ethos and the drawing above was done by one of the group. Spirit do like spirit art and it doesn’t have to be necessarily a portrait. 

We are still carrying on with our peace campaign by sending our hearts, worry worms etc and I have had lots of inspiring messages from those who found them. We will keep this up as it’s so badly needed. Will we ever learn war is not an option. I would love to see this in my live time.

On the subject of hearts and worry worms I keep being asked for worry worms and hearts. Yes I will willingly make them, but I would like a donation for postage as like everyone else pennies are short and postage adds up.

Covid and all that

 

As you all know now Nicholas is home safe and sound, but he has contracted the dreaded covid together with his mum. Both of them have been very poorly, which seems unfair under the circumstances. Nicholas has various medical issues which have to be attended to before he can return to the Ukraine. His own cats were sulking for a while, but have now more or less got back to normal. He is still worried about his companions over there not forgetting the 13 cats (especially one wee one who adopted him). Two of which are shown here.

We are still making very slow progress with our decluttering basically due to my brothers extended stay in hospital and he still cannot walk any long distance. It is a great worry to myself and Daniel. 

At least our own medical needs are getting sorted out bit by bit. 

We still have our hearts set on a sanctuary plus that is to say a place which is not only a learning and healing establishment, but a place with a small cheap cafe for the lonely or isolated to come to make friends or at least have some social contact.It needs to be able to welcome people from all faiths. There has to be a place for animal  healing, a playground for the young ones plus classes and workshops for therapies, spiritual awareness plus crafts. A wee shop for sales plus a bookshop. We have lots of new workshops planned. We are continuing are peace campaign as you know by sending out worry worms, hearts etc as random acts of kindness and it’s quits rewarding when we get an email or comment saying someone found this at the right time.

Home we come

Nicholas is now back from the Ukraine and it sounds as if he had quite a gruelling  journey back. A long bus ride from Kviv to  the Polish border. The first part of the journey was where he was based near the front lines back to Kviv where he spent two nights ans one day before venturing on the  arduous path to eventually arriving Rzeszow which is a popular tourist place for English and American whose manners weren’t‘t exactly polite when he started speaking to them in Ukrainian they started shouting him loudly in English.

I will be interested to hear about the cats reaction will they be all over him or sulking?

We have actually made a wee bit of headway with our decluttering (not huge strides but in the right direction).

We are continuing with our peace campaign and a lovely lady who lives in Wales is now also offered to help and a large number of worry worms and hearts will be speeding there way tomorrow.  I have been working it out and I must have knitted around 800 to 1,000 hearts and worry worms.

News but no nothing consequential

Here is the latest news on Nicholas who is now in Kyiv before he departs for Poland a long bus ride plus two flights etc . He enjoyed a nice shower etc after being with 13 people all of whom smoked, 13 cats (including the one who sleep with he named Gabrielle) plus two dogs. He should all being well be back in Gerrards Cross by 14th and hopefully enjoy a good long rest.  We will be posting picture of all the cats hopefully in a future post as he was not allowed to send photographs from there. We really admire his determination to return to help and hope he sorts out his own medical needs quickly without any problems.  

We are continuing with our Whats App Group which has now been running over two years started during the pandemic and now still going strong with members from Buckinghamshire, Kent, Somerset, Essex and London. 

We need to think about looking for a place to have a retreat which is inexpensive and within peoples financial constraints. So little money about now and everything seems to have risen in price. 

We have been continuing to campaigning for peace. The worry worms and hearts etc., have certainly helped to cheer a few people up. We have now got a lovely lady in Wales helping with our campaign. One day maybe people will realise “peace”  is worth more than “money” 

Decluttering is a slow process and my brother being in hospital has held us up even more as i seems to have spent so much time on the telephone with that and my own plus Daniel’s medical needs. The poor nurses are rushed off their feet and very short staffed. My glasses snapped in the middle and that has caused even more mayhem. 

I will be happier once we can sort out some new support stockings so my legs aren’t so swollen, but at least my feet are in better shape since seeing a lovely podiatrist called Jolene at the Downham Leisure Centre. We also got news of Petros too via her and he has established his own practice. Getting old has its disadvantages, but as I have said there are some who don’t have this privilege or they don’t want trouble makers like me on the other side. 

I am starting to feel that the days of spiritual churches is over and we need more spiritual communities with the same ethos as people like Les and Jacky Fuller, Alan Albiston, Diana Samuels, Michael Redwin, Alfred Hunt, Paul Bathgate  and Bruce Bayley. Being spiritual in my opinion is not just attending the church, but it’s a way of life and there is need for more empathy and compassion needed. I would be interested in hearing others views. On that note I will terminate this post and will update you on Nicholas’s return plus the cats reaction to him.

Whatever you are celebrating or just resting we hope you have a peaceful constructive time. 

Nicholas is now in the war zone so his mum will receive little news until he returns to a safer place. He had joined another aide organisation as

has as I previously said been declared a terrorist group. The last news she received was that the group of people he is with had adopted a cat which has given birth to 12 kittens. Luckily Nicholas would have difficulty in bringing them back as the three he has at home are none too pleased by his absence.

We are still decluttering but it is slow, slow,  slower and I am finding it slightly depressing. These crazy energies are not helping. 

We are continuing sending peace tokens out and sometime it’s quite rewarding when you get a message saying it’s made a difference in someone’s life (especially in these trying chaotic times). Several boxes have gone out and I am hoping to get another out soon. Hopefully these too will cheer at least one or two people. On a personal note  I am adding another thing to my bucket list and that is we go to Cyprus to surprise someone. So that is number seven 

More News of Nicholas

Nicholas has now been in the Ukraine over a week and has been sorting out peoples medication amongst other things as most of the medical records have been lost. The medical charity he works for MSF have now been declared a terrorist organisation with shoot on sight for any of their workers. Chemical weapons are being used  aimed a civilians. So it’s all pretty grim and we applaud Nicholas for his courage and determination. He also travelled into territory where he couldn’t communicate with Diana (not easy for her I hasten to add). She was without communication for three days. They have set up clinics where they needed to do but have had to withdraw because of being declared a terrorist organisation as have the other charities and aid organisations. He is now back in Aviv near the Polish border and will returning to the Uk on 14th April. More on that in my next post.

My brother is still in hospital recovering from Sepsis and a UTI. At the moment there is no indication of when he will return  as he is having a kidney scan on Monday. Lots  of healing needed. We are shattered and sleeping chaotically. Awake in the early hours a present from Covid.  

We are still on our peace campaign and worry worms in the Ukrainian colours are etc are being taken to the Ukrainian Church in London by a friend who had being going there since the war started. We are also hoping to get some to more countries to send the peace signal worldwide. 

Are decluttering is making slower progress than we would like but it’s continuing.j

Nicholas’s in Ukraine

 

Today 22nd March Nicholas officially arrived in the Ukraine having arrived yesterday in Poland. Above is a picture of him at the airport with his luggage mainly full of goodies for the children in the orphanage. Most of them have lost there parents in this awful war. He has just messaged his mum to tell her how appalled he is at the number of graves he has seen on his journey from the coach station to his rented flat in Lviv. I experience the end of the last war and my father actually was one of those who witnessed those in Germany in concentration camps. He would never talk about it. I will try and update our blog at least once a week. His mum st the moment has three cats who are not impressed with his departure. 

We are continuing are peace campaign and trying to get our hearts etc into as many country as we can and I truly believe sending peace energy can help to bring lasting  peace. So far hearts etc have been left in France, Spain, Germany, Australia, Tasmania, Wales and across the pond in the United States. Now hopefully in Poland and the Ukraine. At one time I would have protested and marched but now I feel the only way forward is by other means 

Now we will get decluttering again and hopefully get something done. We seem to be flogging a dead horse as the saying goes. No doubt we will win eventually 

 

                          

Latest news

Firstly we want to wish our friend Nicholas a safe and easy journey to the Ukraine. We all admire him greatly at this time, but know he will be kept safe while he does what he can to help. We totally understand his compulsion to travel there and  we know it’s part of his journey in this life. His safety is guaranteed. Hopefully a wee bit towards what this beautiful planet needs peace.

We are continuing our decluttering, but not having a great deal of success partly due to the long covid and partly due to other factors which haven’t quite been resolved but we are getting there.

On a personal level I am continuing my peace campaign and sending plus giving our heart key-rings, worry worms etc. We need to start thinking about Mother Earth she who sustains us and gives us all we need. 

Luckily here on the fringes of Kent the snow which was forecast has not arrived and I for one am grateful as with my swollen legs at the moment I am just wobbling and Daniel’s legs are a little restricted too. 

We have plans for a new series of workshops when we get the opportunity which will include a series of mindful workshops, which we will update you with as soon as we know where and when 

Best  bit of our news was that a wee boy had found a worry worm on the beach at Eastbourne kindly taken for us by Christine Camp and he adored it-. Now 2023

 Long overdue I am updating our blog. We have decided it must be this year we move. We both would prefer to be on one level. So decluttering now taking place in earnest. Things we no longer need nor want must go. We are both still suffering some effects of covid, but they are getting better. 

How many hearts and worms etc have been sent out in a plea for peace is now countless and even the boxes I have sent our total 450 ( not counting those we have left various place or given out- total must be nearer 800)and I have another 20 ready to go see latest batch at the top of this page. A plea for peace in the Ukraine. The whole world seems to be chaotic. Such sadness with the desperate situation in Turkey and Syria. Floods in New Zealand and now the weather across the pond. Here too with the economy. 

I have decided I need to make a bucket list. 

1. Open our own Sanctuary.

2. Get an MA

3. Walk properly without wobbling like a womble.

4. Complete the animal essence course with Daniel Mapel.

5. Met Paulo Coelho

6. See Mary Chapin Carpenter in concert.

7. Raise some money for the Herona Hospital Maternity Wing in Africa supported by the late Julie Felix (passed to the to the higher realms 2 years later this month). 

Some of these may seem impossible, but who knows!)

Been too long

I have  been neglecting our blog as basically there has been little spiritual news, but we are determined 2023 will be the year we establish our sanctuary and move north. 

We have however been sending little messages of peace across the world and especially her in the United Kingdom. Making hearts. worry worms, various little critters plus poppies. Lots of people have been helping distribute them so far afield including a care home in Spain (see picture above). We will continue with this peace campaign. 

This pandemic has made it even more evident a sanctuary of this kind is needed. A place which is not only a spiritual teaching centre, but a place where the poor souls on there own can come and make friends or enjoy a quiet place to sit and enjoy Mother Nature benefits. 

It will also include a teaching centre where crafts such as knitting and crocheting can be learnt plus hopefully a small library.

Latest News

Well I was hoping to have better news in relation to either a workshop or circle, but not at the moment. My legs are very swollen and this heat is not helping. We understand covid is on the increase again. Especially with the new variants. So we are being cautious as neither Daniel nor I have recovered from the last bout we had.

 We are still doing random acts of kindness by leaving hearts, worry worms and other knitted or crochet items around for people to find. We have had some wonderful messages of thanks from people who were really cheered up by them.

We are planning hopefully to run some workshops later this year all depends on my new stockings being fitted as the vertigo seems to have got worse and my balance is less than good. Still I have an appointment in late September. 

I promise I will post more regularly in the future, but I’m honesty these really hadn’t been a great deal to tell. Except we are still hoping to move. We need to start the sanctuary.

Scrying plus

I have been waiting to see if I could post some positive news in regard our Whats App Weekend retreats and workshops. Sorry at the moment my legs are restricting our working programmes, but this is getting resolved but by bit. What we really need is someone who would like to belong to a circle plus doing workshops who drives. We would willingly let them come on all our workshops and circles without  charges plus paying towards the cost of fuel which is an horrendous cost. 

Next I would like to review Lucya Starza book on “Scrying” although I hasten to add I recommend all her books. They are in easy to get to grips with both in language and researched throughly. This book on Scrying is no acception. I enjoyed reading it and learnt a great deal. Indeed I would say whether you area complete novice or one of those practice any kind of scrying you will benefit from the knowledge within its pages. 

I hope soon to have better news of our retreat. We are looking for somewhere in Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire or suggestions. I know already I have asked Alan Albiston, Diana Samuels, Nicholas Samuels and I am hoping Paul Bathgate  will be able to join us in bringing together a special time for all members of the Whats App group which have been working together during the last two years plus. All from varying parts of the country. Plus of course we will be doing workshop 

. 

It long overdue but in honesty there has not been a great deal of news for us. We both have long term covid and can drop asleep at the drop of a hat. I have the most horrendous cough which I can’t kick.

I got a delightful message from a lady who came to our workshop some while ago and said if changed her life for the better, which had given me some incentive to keep trying to manifest a sanctuary even with my age being slightly against me.  

This week has been full of sadness as we heard of Billy Robert’s funeral. I have a great fondness for Billy as he was the first person to encourage me to give a proper message from spirit. I highly recommend Billy’s books too especially “Shadows of the Future Prophecies for the Millennium” 

Then yesterday we learnt that Francis Stadden to had passed to spirit. We were quite shocked but now at least he is with his beloved. Rest in peace both you lovely people.

We are still carrying on with our peace campaign and sending our worry worms, hearts, key tings etc. we are also distributing boxes to friends who are leaving them all over the place got people to find and we hope it is cheering up those who find them. 

As soon as we get in a position to do workshops and run a circle we will notify everyone. 

Finally in my next post I will be reviewing Lucya Starza book on Scrying which I highly recommend. 

28 worms challenge

Well it’s almost at the end of my 28 day challenge in order to raise money for training dogs for the deaf in fact it’s day 28 and here are all my worms which will be speeding their way to the charity’s head quarters either to be distributed to the volunteers or those that are getting a new pair of ears  with a four legged friend. I will be including a few hearts too. 

Still no decision in regard to when we will do our first workshop, run a circle or take a service. My swollen legs have got worse and I am trying hard to lose weight plus strengthen my ankles.

The world itself seems chaotic such a desperate state conflict and wars looming. We must send lots of positive vibes into the ether and pray for peace. 

We are will intent on moving at least to live on one level as unfortunately my age is starting to catch up a little. Still a bit of exercise and weight loss will help. I do wish our group on Facebook would grow into a world peace movement “Rainbow Healing Sanctuary Hearts for the Love of Peace RAK”  

We are still looking for a nice venue around the Hertfordshire area for our retreat. Once organised it will be a fun filled weekend with lots of learning plus socialising as I know lots of you have connected over the past two years and would like to met up.  If anyone has heard of a nice inexpensive venue around that area let us know and we will book it post haste

28 Day Challenge

 

Well it looks as if we are coming out of lockdown at long last. Both Daniel and I are still suffering the results of covid. Still coughing like mad and not feeling wonderful on the other hand we are starting to plan. Firstly we need a retreat around the Hertfordshire area so we can have a met up for our Whats App group. Unfortunately with the rise in cleaning bills, electricity and gas I can’t see them coming down, but we are trying to keep it as  cheap as possible as we know everyone is “hearts of oak” or “brassic”. I have asked Diana, Alan and Daniel to do workshops plus of course myself. I am also asking Nicholas to go a Mindfulness session. I will be looking for self catering as it would be nice if Alex’s other half can do the cooking (just an idea). 

I am also doing a 28 day challenge to raise money for the dogs for the deaf charity. As some of you might know we already support “Guide Dogs for the Blind” as I am grateful for my sight having spent time in hospital as a child with eye operations. Nothing sight threatening but at one time after the operation I was deprived of my eye sight and it certainly has stayed in my memory. Equally I can’t imagine a world without music . I will try and keep you all informed of progress. We really need somewhere for our own sanctuary before I get too old to cope with the move as my vertigo and mobility are not 100% anymore.

  Well what can I say. At the moment we are not planning any workshops or circles as we both feel too under the weather to contemplate it.  We need to combat this and battle the Winter. No doubt soon Frau Holda will be shaking our her pillows and we will see flurries of the white stuff I dread. Lovely in the countryside, but in London no. The street become slippery and icy.  I really don’t want any falls. Already had two curtesy of masks.   We really do need to have our own sanctuary so we don’t have to travel. We have known for sometime we are in the wrong locality, but until recently weren’t sure which direction we should be heading . We do know we want to have extras such as a place where lonely people can met up and make friends. Plus a healing sanctuary both for humans and the animals whether fur babies or feathered friends. We will need a miracle for this or a sponsor. 

  We are continuing with our Whats App group and I feel we will go on with this for a while as lots of the group have nowhere to go and they have made friends as well as supporting one another. We are looking for a venue in either Hertfordshire or Buckinghamshire to hold a retreat. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. 

  I still feel Julie Félix’s song “Tiger Eyes” was a foresight and although it was written for the last year of the it applied to this one, which arrives on 1st February note to Mercury Retrograde goes on the 4th February. 

  Our main aim this coming year is to move. We need to get the other side of the Thames. Moreover these old bones need to be on one level.

Welcome March and goodbye covid

A Happy New Year to all our readers. We wish you an abundant, healthy, blessed 2022 with lots of joy as say goodbye to covid as I am still convinced as the year of the tiger roars in covid will depart as we know it and become like the flu seasonal, but let’s hope it has made us realised how much we value the green of nature and our nearest and dearest. Remember “Friends are family you choose for yourself”. I have also mention how many of you in our spiritual group have linked together supporting each other through this past year even though you have had problems of your own. I am fully convinced we will start seeing the back of Covid in February - let the tiger roar in. Google Tigers Eye by Julie Felix, which was written by her for  the last year of the Tiger (I did mention this in my blog entry of 27th October 2021). Sadly Julie past to spirit the day before the first lockdown so very sad but she would have not been happy with all the restrictions. She without really realising was extremely intuitive and did the most amazing sound healing workshops which I had the privilege of attending on several occasions. She had the knack  of making everyone feel secure and safe at the same time as well as feeling special. We organised a lovely weekend at the Seekers Trust in Kent (see blog entries on December 2009) and the following entry for details and pictures) quite a magical weekend and a beautiful memory.  

She had been in my life so many years my eyes still feel with tears at the thought her physical presence is no longer with us. Heavens gain is our loss. 

We are looking forward to being able to start workshops again, but really need to establish our own sanctuary. My age isn’t with me as lockdown and masks have taken there toil. Nevertheless we are determined to make it happen as we not only want to teach spiritual practices I would like to teach some crafts so theses skills are past on knitting, tatting as well as crochet. Even during my eye operation as a child I managed french knitting by feel. Just wish I had that strength now, but I mustn’t complain as there are people who never have this privilege.

We are hoping sometime in March to be able to run classes again plus organising a retreat for all the members of our Whats App, although at the moment we are taking one day at a time. If anyone has any ideas in helping us manifest this dream please contact us on yourcreativeself@outlook.com. 

We will continue to knit and crochet things to leave in various localities as random acts of kindness for people to come upon as the certainly do cheer people up and we have had some lovely emails saying they found something which came at exactly the right time to cheer them up. News an no news

 

Seasons Greetings everyone. I do apologies for not having updated the blog in such an age, but there has been no news much to relate and we are hoping 2022 will bring better times. I am convinced when the year of the tiger comes roaring in it will send the virus packing. 

We still haven’t got any workshops planned? but are continuing our Whats App group until such can be attained, but  we will continue this group even after things return to being less somewhat chaotic. 

It has made us even more aware with so many churches closing how much a sanctuary is needed as there are so many lonely people in the world who under these present circumstances have been totally isolated. As lots of their friends are safe guarding themselves, but some are completely alone. We would like to establish a sanctuary where there is a cafe they could come and met other people to make friend plus being able to buy an inexpensive nourishing meal. We would also like it to form some kind of club for them so as a couple of times during the year probably Yuletide and Easter make sure they had some kind of goodie bag plus something special for their birthdays.

We would like to run a combination of workshops which would include one of our others passions crafts. So many of the old crafts were dying and the one thing this pandemic has done is reintroduce these. So many are now knitting and crocheting. I am devising a mindfulness workshop where a craft can be taught plus being mindful into the bargain. 

We have been continuing with our peace campaign by knitting hearts, worry worms and worry worm bookmarks and leaving them around as well as sending some to people on Facebook who are members of our support group as well as sending boxes of them to various friends so they can distribute them in their areas. 

We have decided what we need is a sponsor who has the same ideas as us “make peace a reality. Well we can dream can’t we and sometimes dreams become realities.Keep safe and we hope you receive many blessings in 2022. 

Support and Book Worms

I have got to say at the present moment I do not see us being able to teach in person for some while if not forever. Sadly it looks as if the viruses have sway. 

I am feeling my best move forward is to keep running out Whats App group  until we can establish some place of our own to teach permanently. We keep being promised such, but at the moment no indication (sadly). On the other hand we have managed to establish a pretty good group who are supporting each other during these weird chaotic times. Interesting part is some of the people spirit have guided to us and we haven’t even met but they fit in on the group perfectly. 

At the moment I am happier with knitting random acts of kindness for our group on Facebook “ Rainbow Healing Sanctuary Hearts for the love of Peace”. We have added to the hearts with worry worms and worry worm bookmarks. 

One person who was pleased to receive our happy mail was Lucya Starza who writes an excellent blog and gives list of both physical and online events taking place. Do take a look at it (http://www.badwitch.co.uk). Hopefully we will have more happy post going out this week.  The above Halloween book marks was sent to Carol Winmill. 

I do hope to have more interesting news in our next post. Although I don’t think we will get any rest bite from this until next year when the year of the tiger roared in. I am convinced this song wrote on the last year of the tiger was a prediction. Google it Tigers Eye by Julie Felix . I will be interested in comments from other people in posts below. 

 

Long overdue

I had  really hoped I would be able to make an announcement regarding a workshop or circle, but no way and with the weather forecast the way it is I am afraid this Winter is not looking good. I do think the idea of snow for Halloween is a bit bizarre. I do hope it isn’t the case. 

Well I certainly have no idea when we will be teaching again. Everything is totally crazy and although I am doing the bookings I feel I can’t really book myself in straight away. In fairness I will have to give priority to other mediums who have been teaching at the church previously (some for many years). 

We will be continuing with our peace campaign which is only an extension of what has always work been my main direction in life ever since I was a teenager. At one time I would have marched, but now feel the only way forward is to send out love to the world and  in my case at the moment random acts of kindness (at the moment heart key rings, worry worms and worry worm bookmarks). I am awaiting some patterns for halloween  goodies such as pumpkins, ghosts and witches. I have seen a nice little egg cosy pattern. It’s great now as we have some other people joining us sending out love, light and peace to the world as well as hearts or something nice.  

Hopefully we will have better news in the future. I would have liked to say in my next post, but it’s vey unlikely. Meanwhile we will continue with the groups on Whats Apo. At least lots of healing going out with some amazing results.
