These inspirational pictures were created by Gloria Alexander whilst attending the Art From the Heart weekend courses at the Britton Centre. Again each piece has a special quality. I asked Gloria if she could put some of her work on the blog, as we felt it was very powerful. As she has not access to the internet at the moment, we have added them and also as she did not give them titles I will give you my feelings on them, but we would be interested to know what your interpretations are. The painting on the right to me represents water lapping gently against the rocks and that on the left fire burning so brightly it fills the sky with it warming glow. We will be interested to hear your comments on these images.

The lovely blues in this image make me think of deep blue skies and warm seas. The blended images on the right could even be the side of an angels wing, dipping down to bestow blessing.
To me the oranges and reds are the warmth of the fire representing home, bonfires in the garden; the sparks from the fire lighting up the night.
The blue image make s me think of a mountain stream.
A place of perfect peace and harmony.
Against the mountain rocks you see,
Natures fight upon mother earth,
A time to look at the worlds rebirth
Warm,gentle and calm as the sea.
A beautiful image of scenery.
The fire reminds me of a passion for life
A passion and power, a spark ,an explosion of red and white
A golden stream pouring out sunshine and light,
The power and passion within this soul.
