Intuitive Ways to use a Sketchbook and Co-Create with Spirit

Ok I now understand why I was compelled to change the date for the "Intuitive Ways With a Sketch Book". I had actually though we had evaded the snow this year.  Now I understand we are going to have some next week.  The positive side of this is that it will kill off some of the nasty virus and bugs doing the rounds. So our new afternoon course will be on the 18th March starting at 1pm. Don't worry about a sketchbook first time around as we can give advise about where to buy it.  It is one of the only extras you will have on this course accept for a donation of £5 later in course for materials. We will also cover lots of different ways to use art materials including encaustic wax, printing, acrylics, water colours and possibly oils so this course will be two fold your intuition will sharpen and you will be more creative (all right brain activities)  I would like to wish Judith Thorne a belated Happy 75th Birthday.  On the 12th March there is a reasonably priced Reiki I and II course in Romford.  We are not the tutors but can recommend the lady who is teaching so please ring me for more details on 07927 288904. We are looking forward to serving West Wickham Church for the first time on the 16th March and Edmonton on the 31st March  (more details in our next post). On the 30th we are with Barbara Barnes in Docklands.  We are delighted to say we had our first donation to our www.gofundme.com project and are thrilled to pieces as we want to create a place where people can come and learn, but also find time for themselves to relax.  Please take a look at our new www.rainbowcraftlady.etsy.com and consider buying some of our handed knitted items as gifts.  I would also like to thank Pat Andrews so much for the donation of the hearts and stars she sent for some of our rewards.

Intuitive Ways to use a Sketchbook

Here is our up to date news,  Tomorrow we are at Wimbledon doing readings and I will be doing a mini workshop.  The address of the venue is Merton Manor Club, 76 Kingston Road, Wimbledon, SW19 1LA. Nigel Irving will also be doing an Astrology Workshop and I can assure you this on its own will be well worth going to.  The readers include Liz Gale, Sarah Jane,  Nigel Irving,  Daniel Naughnane (drawing pictures of your guides), Clare Grey and myself Patricia McNally. There will also be Reiki amongst other things including stalls with our knitted items plus a jewellery and book stall.  As I mentioned in our last post we are at the David Nason Centre on Wednesday 19th February as mentioned in our last post starts at 7.30pm.  Again on the 23rd February we are back at Barbara Barnes little haven in Docklands details again in our last post.  Here at last are the details of our new workshops.  This is going to be exciting, fun and informative. " Intuitive Ways of Using a Sketchbook"  Daniel wrote this for the website and I am sharing it with you.  "Sketchbooks are not just for drawing in and you certainly don’t have to be able to draw to use one.  In these on going workshops we’ll use a variety of methods to create images.  You do not have to be able to draw to take part.  All we ask is that you are willing to give in to your creative urges and allow your inner child to come out and play. We will then use the images produced as tools to explore and heighten your intuitive and spiritual abilities using a number of fun experiments (the emphasis in all our workshops is learning and enlightenment with a generous helping of love, light and laughter thrown in).We hope you can join us on this exciting journey of self-discovery through creativity. Please bring with you an A4 Sketchbook (not tear off) or if you prefer a cheap scrapbook, but you must have somewhere to store and record your images as they will also be used for future workshops.  Most basic materials will be provided including teas and light refreshments, but pleased bring a lunch".  This will start in the 18th March and be a fortnightly event we hope.  More details when all details have been confirmed, but the idea at the moment is to run it from 12 noon to around 5pm.

New Go Fund Me Project

We are now four days into February and have had a completely chaotic start to the month with circumstances completely beyond our control.  We are now trying to get back on course. Firstly I would like to wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year "Kung Hai Fai Choi"  Our enterprise website group is growing. Please take a look at it. I will put all websites at the end of the post.  We are definitely hoping ti make a complete move by the end of 2014.  We still need to find the right locality and have set up a go fund me site with this aim.  When it came to money we put a large sum on it, but in honesty we are looking for something that will suit the aims of the sanctuary and we may well have to think about renting.  The main thing is it is established and it can be a place where we can invite other teachers who feel our aims are the right ones and we have tried to summarise it in the www.gofundme.com site. Quite a difficult task I hasten to add.  We are offering rewards such as knitted items, readings, spiritual paintings.  If any one else has any thought about what we can offer please message us.  Our any other good fund raising ideas. We are at the David Nason Centre, The Veneer Road Community Centre, Sydenham, SE26 5EQ 7.30 pm for 8 pm on the 19th February and with our dear friend Barbara Barnes on the 23rd February when she will be doing a special with readings at the Island of Light, Barkentine Hall, Westferry Road, Isle of Dogs, E14 9J. There will be a selection of mediums there and prices are within most peoples pockets.   http://www.rainbowhealingsanctuary.co.uk/rainbowsanctuary.htm

Lastly here are the rest of the contact details. These four little owls are some of my latest offerings and all but Union J. Owl -have gone to good homes,  Hopefully he will too and meanwhile I will go on with our latest projects while working out finally bits for our next two courses "Co-Creating with Spirit" and "Intuitive Ways with a Sketchbook" the former for March. and the latter to be decided. http://www.rainbowhealingsanctuary.co.,uk

Lastly I am asking all our friends and readers to share this project in so much as a combined like minded energy creates and it is our dearest wish to found a place where like minded people can not only met, but discover who they are.  A place that is the haven for peace, self empowerment and learning. We would also welcome new members to our new website group and we have a trainee reader on the site who I feel is going to be an asset to spirit and he will do readings for a donation.  Please look at the trainee section and click on Frank,

Into February

We set up a website group for people to help one another. There is a place for events and some members will be offering discounts.  There will be discussions and advise about funding.  Different ways to advertise and also recommendations for cheap insurance as well as cheap venues.           Brenda Diskin has set up this site so please take a look at her page.  Liz Gale is the first of our members to offer a discounted workshop on the 12th March Reiki I and II, which will be held in the salon of another member Rafia Ajaz.  Please contact either Liz or I via the website if you are interested or ring me on +447927 288904.  It will be at Romford.  There is also a course being arranged of alignment therapy on 9th February either in East London or Romford.  This is a gentle therapy of bone manipulation and aligning the skeleton structure, but I will let Ann Evans explain  http://www.alignment-therapy.co.uk  We are also serving the David Nason Centre at Sydenham on the 19th February and then we are at docklands later in the month at the Island of light as Barbara Barnes is having one of her evenings of readings. I will update you on this as soon as I have details. I would also like to recommend Mike Keet who runs courses in Drury Lane , London, but also for those of you who don't want to travel an online hand reflexology course (www.onedaycourses.com). This year we  are also very determined to open a sanctuary this year and we have dreams, which we wish to turn into realities.  We feel the  web page is just a step in that direction and we are very grateful to Brenda Diskin for setting it up  http://rainbowhealingsanctuary.co.uk/rainbowsanctuary.htm  Now our ideas for the sanctuary we wish to establish a place to be where you can have a place to discover who you are and develop your own intuition plus being able to enjoy a range of therapies.  We also would like a place that we can run shamanic workshops as well as linking to earth energies.  The must is a healing sanctuary both for humans and animals. We are now thinking along the lines of a crowd funding scheme that is www.gofundme.com and offering reading, workshops, picture of guides, psychic art and knitted goods.   We have also reopened our etsy site http://www.rainbowcraftlady.etsy.com.   We are starting new classes etc in late February need to settle dates though as we are waiting to see how the weather develops.  I hope you have all had a good start to the New Year as I know like us many of you have had these nasty viruses which seem to be gripping everyone.  We have however started a web group for people who would like to help one another.  So please join us as its only £10 a year and you will find lots of events starting to appear as our membership grows.  Brenda has also join go fund me so please look at her project.  She is offering a range of rewards.   Our little elfin mouse is just one of the many things we are doing to raise money so please have look. on Etsy.   Also if any of you know of an empty building that has been like it for a long time please email us on rainbowhealingsanctuary@hotmail.co.uk

News and More News

Firstly we would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and wish you all abundance and blessings. We hope none of you have been involved in the floods and storms in anyway that caused damage.  I have got to say the last one was really scary here and I felt like Dorothy in Oz.  We have also re- opened out Etsy site http://rainbowcraftlady.etsy.com plus we now have a new website and it has a forum which has a membership fee of £10, which gives you access to the forum, membership discounts and also discussion etc.  It will tell you about up and coming workshops, events, fayres  and not just ours.  So for just under 20p annually its excellent value in my opinion.www.rainbowhealingsanctuary.co.uk and I am so grateful to my friend Brenda Diskin for sorting it all out for me.  She is a genuine earth angel. We have lots of new events scheduled for 2014 and two new courses one which encompasses a lot of what we have done before including manifestation, colour, spirit art and much more so please come and join us for the "Co Create With Spirit" which will be held at www.woodfordchurch.com in March.  Daniel took part in the Carol Service at Woodford and sometimes in the New Year I shall attempt to load up a video, which although the image isn't wonderful you can hear Daniel's voice singing "We Three Kings" and I will confess it was a lovely concert.  We will be updating this blog early next year meanwhile stay warm, dry and problem free,

Winter is here

We had what we feel was a fairly successful workshop last weekend at Woodford Spiritualist Church (www.woodfordchurch).   Even though there were few in numbers being lots of people had been taken ill or had prior arrangements. On that note I would like to send healing to Eileen who fell over just as she was leaving for the workshop and also her friend who I believe was having her own traumas with her son not being well and also to Frank who had a very nasty ear infection. Due to the lack of support at workshops at Camden at the moment it was mutually decided it would be best to cancel the workshop on the 7th December and move it forward to next year.  We have a complete course planned for next year at Woodford called"  Co-Create with Spirit" plus we are hoping to also hoping to run an afternoon course called "Intuitive Ways With a Sketch Book" possibly on a Thursday or Tuesday afternoon hopefully twice a month ~  it will include a form of meditation through drawing. We are hoping to make it a four hour workshop and there will also be planned trips out to connect and get inspiration from mother nature too.  We are delighted to announce we are serving Barbara Barnes little sanctuary in docklands " The Island of Light" at the Barkentine Centre, Westferry Road, E14 8JH  next Sunday the 9th December for the candle service, which starts at 6.30 (bring your own candle).  Its hard to believe I took a snap of the bush at the top just over the month ago and now it has turned these beautiful shade of reds, yellows and oranges.  Hopefully the cold bout of snow that has been forecast will not mature as we are also serving Stockwell on the 13th December.  For those of you who are interested and local we are also selling our Crafts at the Pop in Christmas Fair at the Green Man in December.  Watch for details in the next post.  I would also like to suggest if you have the time or live in around Chalk Farm you give your support to the "Fundraising event for Philippine Typhoon Appeal" being organised by Odette Kurland - telephone 07946664133 (they need donations for the raffle) and all proceed will go directly to the appeal. For more details of the workshops or fair please contact me on +44 7927 288904 or email purpleladysanctuary@hotmail.co.uk/ We will also be setting up a new website and forum very soon where people can help one another with venues, publicity etc.

What, where and Who.

Firstly I would like to do a wee bit of recommending as on Saturday 26th October there are two excellent workshops on offer. The first is at Woodford with Judith Thorne and is called "Signs and Symbols on our Spiritual Path" (www.woodfordchurch.com)  12 noon till 3pm and the second is at Stockwell Church with Maggie Jones and entitled "All Aspects of Mediumship Plus Trance" 11am till 4.30pm.  Both are first rate teachers and Woodford has some excellent workshops such as the one we attended last Saturday with Alan Albiston.  We are coming to the end of October and we will be the mediums at Woodford for their Monday afternoon service on the 28th October which starts at 2pm.  We will then we doing an Angel Workshop which is at a new spiritual centre in Hurst Green.  We are really looking forward to it.  It is on the 9th November and I will be posting details in my next bulletin.  We are then at Petts Wood on the 12th November with our dear friends Chris and Alan Oborne. I have just update our craft blog so please take a look at it http://craftladyrainbow.blogspot.com and please also think about joining us on http://united2013pif.blogspot.com  In 2014 we are starting a whole different concept in regard to workshops and we will be doing tasters as such we are combining all our knowledge under one umbrella that is to say creativity, colour, sound, healing and manifesting dreams.  We are at the moment looking for a new title that encompasses all of this plus the spiritual side of what this brings so any ideas would be received gratefully.  We will be offering a key ring to the one chosen just as a we gesture of thank you  (like the ones posted here)
